RIP, Pusha. So bizzarre and unfortunate.

Has the specific cause of death been been announced? I would really like to know. Not to sound selfish, but I think the community deserves to know, so we can potentially learn something from it.

Take care of your body. Nothing in life isn't augmented for the better when you look and feel the way you want/need to look and feel. For us, that goes doubly so in regards to fighting games, where confidence is everything.

Some of your guys were talking about this match last week and I believe it wasn't posted yet

Valmaster vs JWong

Val is maximizing the spacing of Chun's normals and damage. He makes her look more interesting than I remember, I may pick her up.

The light that emerges from the dark. One of the main reasons I love the gaming community and fighting game community to be more specific. After the sudden passing of Pushatee a lot of people have gathered together and done what they can to raise money for the expenses that come along with someones passing or at least raised awareness in a positive way to the situation.

When I woke up for work this morning I checked in on the Super Dojo stream because I knew they were trying to raise money for Pushatee's family. They were at about $3,500. Its just incredible to see people help each other out that way even for someone they have never met before. All brought together by something we love. Games. I know that if I were to ever pass away and people raised money for my family like that and then to know its coming from people who knew me because I play fighting games, that would blow my family away. Its so generous, so humbling, and really just puts a smile on my face. Good stuff FGC.

Nishikin gets first place at Isshungeki and a free ride (?) to Capcom Cup. After, he gets 9th at Topanga B League. :(

So Sako, Nemo, Tokido, and Pugera are automatically in A League now, right? Shame that Santarou made it just outside at 5th lol. He even has the same points as Pugera and Nemo, but he lost one more match than them.

I believe there's one more day then playoffs or something?

Watched some highlights of Sako vs Tokido. Sako is getting tons of mileage out of using Elena's non invincible DP's against Tokido's jump ins.

Oh okay, I thought it was over since Sako was announced the victor. I guess his record is just untouchable at this point lol. He's apparently 13-0 and the next group of people (Tokido, Pugera, and Nemo) are 9-4.

Meanwhile Mago is getting destroyed by everybody lol

Dude needs to give up Yang and keep searching for a new main
lol damn. I like yang and I think he fits mago but the character has a bit of a learning curve for lack of a better expression. Mago has the best execution of any Yang I ever seen aside from Nemo and Sako when they both dabbled with the character in ver.2011. He consistently goes for the high damage but hard to do palm loops and he rather squeeze the maximum amount of damage possible out of a set up than go for a reset opportunity. I thinks that's probably part of his problem I think he needs to play more dirty and play more to that character strength which is his trickery and mix ups.

i've been an ardent believer that yang is too much work for little pay.

he doesnt hit hard enough and it takes a lot of manual dexterity to make him work.

i feel for any yang' player's hands after a good session.

I like the character A LOT but I can fault anyone for thinking this. Dude takes some work to be frank.

If he had an easy hit confirm, I am talking a 3S Chun c.mk, into Rekkas, it would make it worth it.

...he has low forward into rekkas. He also has cr shorts in rekkas. He has easy confirms IMO and I'll be the first to say that my execution is not the best.

I'm talking easy enough to make your opponent respect the character, as well as one's own personal ability to confirm.

K-Brad being able confirm c.mk into drill, does not compel me to go into a Cammy match respecting that possibility as if it were probable... K-Brad aside.

cr.LK has good range, is +1 or something with 3f startup, and is easy enough to combo into itself or into rekkas. Plus, they're rekkas lol. Even if you do cr.MK rekka and they block, you just don't do the rest and they have to be scared about pressing a button because it sets up an easy whiff punish.

ah yisss. nemo for his crazy ass reads, tokido for his dumb ass crazy ch setups and pugera for being a slide monster! /tear.

Nah CountBlackule corrected me. There's still one day left. Pugera's in a tenuous position since he has to play Sako and Nemo tomorrow.

Yang's cr mk into rekkas are hella easy. He lands them like 10 times in every match most of the time.

Too bad he needs to land them 20 times

Elena's links are soooo hard. No wonder Sako can make her look top tier.

I'm getting better at the st.HK ~ cr.LP link. Since I don't have a button to plink LP I just gotta get the timing down. I have confidence in it tho.

I used Yang for a bit just to learn the character. Dude hits as hard as Deejay but is 10x more complicated in his combos. He has many opportunities to hit but they just do chip damage in comparison to Yun
