Though I must admit, I am not feeling the multiplayer at all. I feel the Exo movement amplifies all of the existing problems I had with CoD's multiplayer component. Spawning seems completely erratic / random, as I have been spawned directly in enemy sight lines numerous times now. Now that everyone can just bunny-hop all over the map, there really is no safe place to spawn, nor is there really a direction to work towards; anyone can come from anywhere at any time at any place. And while low TTK is nothing new in CoD, now that 'anyone can come from anywhere' I often just feel that I just do not get a chance to react at all, and the low TTK means that the tiniest amount of lag can completely skew the outcome of any firefight in your opponent's favor. Also, pretty much any type of grenade is rendered useless due to the added Exo movement; there is no real use for them as people can just double jump away without much issue.

The original Black Ops remains my favorite CoD multiplayer and I just don't see myself playing Advanced Warfare Multiplayer for much longer...

Last night on that map where the alarm goes off and the volcano happens and it channels you in one direction....or whatever....I respawned surrounded by four enemies

Three times.
Consecutively.

Only saving grace was the third time they had their backs to me for a change and I got to give them some unfair treatment.

The one with the Koi fish on the walls appears to be the smallest.

Fish people of GAF - have you noticed that this is the second game where a discus fish is in a saltwater aquarium? Hey devs - they are FRESHWATER fish. Stop putting them with clownfish.

I understand that and it's a valid opinion. My point is more why buy a game that is created around a mechanic(s) that you do not like nor want to experience? The maps are created with exo movement specifically in mind. So are the weapons, equipment, streaks etc.

Has it been mentioned that Gideon also played the Battlefield 3 protagonist. Like I know no one gives two fucks about the BF campaigns but I thought that was kinda funny. Like from one FPS shooter franchise to another, ya know.

Yeah wins and losses are pretty much meaningless to me. Way too many ways to end up with cheap losses. I only care about them when I'm playing S&D. And even then I refuse to risk almost certain death just for a 2% chance the other person is sleeping while I defuse the bomb.

I don't know what to do guys. I need a new GPU for my gaming rig to run this properly and that's damn near the cost of a PS4. I'm heavily leaning on opting for a PS4 and AW.

Here's to hoping for some great black Friday deals.

Indeed. It makes your mobility extremely fast which helps you get close enough to shred. On the weapon I have primary gunfighter with foregrip, extended mag and red dot. Perks I use lightweight, gung-ho (to shoot while sprinting), scavenger and blast suppressor with exo overclock. So good.

I just completed the last mission on veteran. The Prestige SP thropy did not unlock. Nothing after completing the last mission. When I go to the mission select screen I can't chiose any level past utopia. Wtf is this??

I just tried COD classic playlist the past hour and yeah I am not going to back to that exo shit. I am back to where I was with the other COD games.

For those that are having trouble adjusting, try COD classic. Make sure to change your loadouts as in no exo shit is disabled.

  • Larger player base (both because this game is new, and the other game is old)
  • The visual clarity of playing at 1080p instead of the sub-HD resolution (880x720?) of Black Ops 2...id be interested to see if anyone in the "just play Blops 2" camp, chose the PS4 version of AW because it is rendered at a higher resolution than the Xbone version..that would be pretty hypocritical to then suggest someone go play a game in sub-HD res
  • The option to play the new modes as a change of pace

I'm considering actually playing PvP just to get some customization unlocks. Is it true that there's a limit as to how many you can have, or did I hear that wrong?

There's an item limit for the armory if that's what you mean. but you can trade dupes and stuff you don't want for XP.

I've come to the conclusion that every single on of the grenades is shit and other than the UAV most of the killstreaks are useless lol. Still trying to figure out how I feel about this game, I definitely like BF4 10x more but I think I like this more than Destiny.

I may give it a shot, but honestly I'd rather just git gud with the exo suits as well. I know I kick ass at cod, because I've essentially had 7 years of practice at the same game. I'm not going to bail now that it's different for an (admittedly satisfying) peen yardstick. I'll reassess where I'm at later on.

.8 is the highest I've ever been in any game, which is why I usually play objective modes. I'm great at dealing with objectives but K/D is not my strength :lol

Don't use either, more room for perky greed! Yea, I'm trying to get used to the grenades but they're not that useful so far.

Makes sense and def to each his/her own... not hating was just curious. Thanks for posting!

I personally feel that the maps aren't anywhere near as "good" when playing without the suits. They feel too big and very restrictive. Very easy to camp choke points and block off half of the map to the opposite team when playing with a group. Too easy almost. But i get what you're saying about the rest.

cooked frag grenades are more useful than ever with the way they shoot out now. find myself using them to clear out camping rooms in maps whose names i may never remember, just as the favela-looking map with the big building in the middle.

All these people saying..."well just go play black ops 2",

Um, how about no....I'm not going back to last gen to play it in a terrible resolution, when I can perfectly enjoy the ONLY GOOD COD ON CURRENT GEN. Do you really think I'm going to play fucking ghosts? Instead I'm going to cater to my playstyle of what I like in this game until Treyarch releases their offering next year. \...which will then be my game for 2-3 years.

So i just finished the campaign and i really enjoyed it, BUT for some reason (various reasons actually) i thought the last quarter was the worst part of the game..shame

Really enjoyed Spacey tho

Kill confirmed has never been more fun than it is here, exo movement is so good in this mode.

This game is a joy when everybody has a good connection, but then the very next match everything is fucked:(

Lol, its kinda cool because I have snow pants, jungle, urban, marine, civilian, etc.
But now I want the matching items.

I really want full Marine gear from the campaign, thought they looked the best.
Though Sentinel's wetsuits would be cool as well.
