Goombella and Cranky really should've been Resetti-style AT's that make fun of every fighter in their respective styles.

Hell I'm weirded out they cut Resetti in the first place. I'd say maybe it was a 3DS limitation thing again, but it still has pop-up text with the Star Fox easter egg.
Well Resetti was made optional in New Leaf because it scared kids in the previous games, so maybe they took him out from his AT status for Smash too for the same reason?

Ness grabs the over-100%-damage-taken Shulk with smash monado up near the ledge, with his back to the ledge.

"Downthrow!"

Thinking back on the roster padding with the Clone Corner I would not have minded having access to a scaled down Giga Bowser. Surely he meets the "unique differences" prereq?

I know GB is a FS but I never really get to use him because I generally don't use items.

Whoa, thanks for posting that! I had no idea the original was so regal-sounding. Kenji Ito did a bang-up job on the arrangement!

(Also, it irritates me to no end that the original Japanese was clearly intended to be "Cardcept." I know nothing about the franchise, so perhaps they found a clever way to justify that decision, but wow.)

It's also a case of the song's original composer being the one doing the arrangement. It's definitely hard to go back to 3DS MIDI after the arrangement, but I like that they go for different sounds.

Every game in the series has had English narration that very clearly calls it "Culdcept", and the boxart itself says it so... I'd imagine it's what they originally intended? Maybe? That or they fucked it up from the start and just decided to roll with it, lol.

I don't think its been posted, but vectoring is not completely gone. Its gone on vertical hitting moves but some form of it remains on horizontal hitting moves. Holding up gives you a higher angle + higher kb and holding down gives you a lower angle + lower kb.

We did some tests that show launch speed is not affected for a bob-bomb walking into you which is presumably a horizontal launch.

I don't know a good way to test vertical launches in singleplayer besides the Mute City track which was also tested: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=139615189&postcount=977
