We did some tests that show launch speed is not affected for a bob-bomb walking into you which is presumably a horizontal launch.

I couldn't be more hyped! I have friends coming into town for a launch party and were gonna smash till dawn. Then I have to drive 3 hours to get my smash coin. All in all it will be an excellent launch!

Does anyone know if the first song that plays in the Little Mac trailer is in the game? Is that a new arrangement or is that from Puncho Out Wii?

My bundle won't be coming in until sometime Friday but my friends have been texting me about going with them to pick their copies up at midnight like we did for the 3DS version. I'm working late tomorrow and have to go to work early Friday so it would be irresponsible for me to go because we'd end up playing all night.

We're already planning on getting together Friday night to play so I might as well be patient and wait.
I'm totally going.

It's also a case of the song's original composer being the one doing the arrangement. It's definitely hard to go back to 3DS MIDI after the arrangement, but I like that they go for different sounds.

Every game in the series has had English narration that very clearly calls it "Culdcept", and the boxart itself says it so... I'd imagine it's what they originally intended? Maybe? That or they fucked it up from the start and just decided to roll with it, lol.

Whoooa, I didn't know he was responsible for the original composition, too. Interesting that he took such a different direction, in comparison to Yoko Shimomura's rather safe arrangement of "Try, Try Again."

And it's interesting because they use カルド (karudo) on the title for "Culdcept" but カード (ka-do) in reference to the cards themselves. That said, it still seems to me like some weird decision made on the part of the Japanese developers that they refused to change, a la "Bravely Default."
