No iZombie? Great IP and Veronica Mars showrunner seems like a great combo.

Anyway, good list. I'm also waiting for

Dark Matter - comic was great and it should satisfy that Stargate Universe craving

Supergirl - Arrow/Flash team is the best superhero team on TV IMO

Expanse - books are great, the cast is great too and this has insane potential. Might flop like hell, bu also turn out to be incredible.

Great list, good job. Looking forward to many of these. Maybe it's finally time
I watch the Evil Dead movies. I loved Drag Me to Hell
. :)

Potentially fantastic line up for HBO. This year was pretty disappointing in terms of output from them, but they might knock it out of the park next year.

Also really looking forward to Ash vs Evil Dead. Love that it's on Starz, should give them some room to get really crazy based on what they allowed with regards to Spartacus.

Oh wow, totally forgot about iZombie. For some reason I had the idea they decided not to move ahead with it, glad to head it's still coming.

This is a solid list. I'm looking forward to checking these out. I was worried about HBO being a little thin after ending three shows in a row this year, but I'm looking forward to seeing their new lineup.

Though I am a little concerned about Ash vs the Evil Dead. It feels a little too late to have another Ash focused Evil Dead movie. Especially after the reboot (which was pretty good).

Well they had True Detective which was fantastic and Silicon Valley which was very very good and funny.

I feel the same, but I'm open to seeing where Fincher goes with it. If there's anywhere the show any chance of surviving beyond two seasons and us getting a resolution to the story, it'll be on HBO.

I'd love for someone to fund the special in the UK though, at least give us a resolution to that story with those characters.

Also...Lucifer. I have no clue how the hell is Fox going to pull this off. But original comic was one of the best series of recent times and getting Californication showrunner to handle the show makes so much sense...

That's right, T.D was this year. I thought it was 2013 for some reason. Very weird.

I haven't heard of Silicon Valley before. What kind of humour is involved? I'm currently watching Broad City and Brooklyn Nine Nine, is it along those lines?

Steve, the dog with no powers that we let hang out with us all for some reason
In for Westworld, Better Call Saul, Daredevil, Utopia, and the Scorsesse project.

Man, 2015 is nuts.

Really looking forward to all the new shows on hbo. Especially the rock n roll one and fincher's utopia

That whole new lineup looks crazy entertaining

Will also check out daredevil and maybe the cameron crowe series

Humor is a little dry. It's a Mike Judge show. It gets better in the second half.
Haven't seen Broad City, but i wouldn't say it's very similar to Brooklyn Nine Nine.

Wait, do we know anything about Utopia US besides the plot?

Fincher will be directing the entire season, but not much else apart from that. I don't believe they've cast anyone yet and I'm not sure, but I don't believe they've started filming yet either.

Waits for Adrian to post a cast list and vblogs from the set.

Thanks.

I'm nearing the end of B.C, s I think I'll check it out and see if it clicks. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Interested in Utopia (even though I still want to watch the UK version first) and Ash vs Evil Dead.

Also, Scream Queens, even though we know almost nothing about it yet. I need more bitchy Emma Roberts in my life.

I'll add a couple I can think of

Fortitude

(Sky Atlantic/ Jan 2015/ With Richard Dormer, Stanley Tucci, Michael Gambon, Sofie Gråbøl)

Fortitude is a place unique on Earth. Surrounded by the harsh beauty of the polar landscape, it's a future sparkling with the promise of Arctic opportunity, wealth and discovery. Fortitude is one of the safest towns on Earth. Never, in all its modern history, has there been a violent crime here.

Until now...

Season 1 Ep 1 clip

The Secret Agent

(BBC One/2015)

Tony Marchant's three-part adaptation of Joseph Conrad's classic novel.

Wolf Hall

(BBC/2015 with Mark Rylance/Damian Lewis/Mark Gatiss/Claire Foy)

A six-part adaptation of two of Hilary Mantel's novels, Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies.

Humans

(I need to watch the Swedish original...but excited for this one)

(Channel 4/AMC/2015 with Rebecca Front/ Neil Maskell/ William Hurt/ Katherine Parkinson)

Humans tells the story of several uncanny Synths and the disquieting role they play in this sci-fi world. There’s domestic servant Anita, who’s owned by a busy suburban family; there’s out-of-date Synth Odi, a surrogate son for his widower owner; and there’s an “NHS-funded overbearing carer Synth” (played - how good does this sound? - by The Thick Of It's Rebecca Front).

The Last Kingdom

(BBC Two/2015 with Alexander Dreymon)

Based on the best-selling series of books by Bernard Cornwell, ‘The Last Kingdom’ is a brand-new television drama series heading for BBC Two.

It combines real historical figures and events with fictional characters during the reign of Alfred the Great, who as King of the-last-kingdom fought off a Viking invasion

The Living and the Dead

(BBC One/BBC America/2015)

his one’s a period horror set in 1888, centring on gentleman farmer Nathan Appleby, and his obsession with proving the existence of the afterlife. Appleby’s research into paranormal visitations and the occult begins to bleed into his family life, posing a threat to his livelihood and sanity, according to the official press release.

The Living And The Dead comes written by Ashley Pharoah and Matthew Graham and will begin filming in the west country in 2015. No casting has yet been announced for the project. As a BBC Worldwide co-production, though, our US chums will be able to see it when it arrives
I

Taboo

(BBC One/FX/ Mid-late 2015 of UK/ 2016 for US)

- Ridley Scott/Tom Hardy/Steven Knight all involved

Story is set in 1813 and revolves around an adventurer who returns from Africa with a plan to build a trade and shipping empire and seek vengeance for the death of his father

I know it's not a proper series, but I'm still really looking forward to Agent Carter (ABC, January 6, 2015).

Narcos and Daredevil are both up there for me, as well as Agent Carter and Supergirl iff it is part of the Arrowverse. I will also likely check out the first few episodes of Ballers, Walking Dead, and Better Call Saul. I want to watch Ash vs Evil Dead but I don't have Starz. :(
