Can someone give me the rundown on what has happened to him...

I don't watch the show and all I know is he has fallen off the face of the planet for some reason....can someone give me a quick recap of what has happened over the past few months??

Thanx :)

All I got for the Vernal Equinox was this stupid tag
Someone told me today that he was doing stand-up at in L.A.(?) a few days ago. Any truth to this?

Last wednesday or thursday he did two unscheduled gigs, one that was like 10 minutes and one that was over an hour. In the same article I read about that in, they also said Variety mentioned that Dave and some Comedy Central Network execs were going to be sitting down soon.

He was sick and it delayed the new season.

They had a stand up on comedy central called Killing Them Softly or something, the other day with Dave.
You know that special is from 2000 right?

And yes, Chappelle is officially back in the US, and he did a couple gigs in LA. I heard the first night of his appearance he did a 15 minute gig at one place, then went elsewhere and did an hour. Mostly new material about current events and stuff.

Some agent or representative was saying he'd be sitting down with Comedy Central very soon to talk business.

I've heard that the season 3 sketches were done, but he had to record the audience part of each show.

How long can it take to film Dave saying, "We'll be right back with more Chappelle's Show after this"? An hour, tops?

Only enough for four shows.

I think he said he was flustered with the new $50 million contract. People around him changed and he wasn't sure if his inner circle was being straight with him because he was now their meal ticket. So he want to Africa to chill with one of his Muslim friends who apparently is unaffected by money. I didn't know he was Muslim or that Muslims justify his brand of comedy. huuuuWHAT. huYYAAAA.

Well, he has been interested in the Nation of Islam since high-school (or so the time magazine article says), so I'm sure (with him anyways), there is no conflict.
