I see Igor is still there.
His VA died so they have found a replacement rather than drop the character.
Also, is this thread some sort of record for posts in a day or the posting rate.
this is not a happy thread anymore

I think the Smash and Destiny threads may have been better recent examples. What poor misguided souls were we.
Do you ever hear that name.
Didn't think so.

Don't remind me...
Also, I can't believe you were still using Destiny wallpapers for your phone; I saw you asking for P5 wallpapers earlier.
This is why he should've come back in the Arena games, so we could finally learn what his name was.
What if he can Galactic Punt things like Chie? Also, I wonder if the cat has an alt costume like Koro's angel wing shirt or a Teddie costume.
There has been no confirmation or deconfirmations, but for now there's another character in the trailer than dons a fox/tanuki mask who we don't know about. Do with that what you will.
What if the cat learns Debilitate or War Cry? You need that shit.
Time to point out the obvious stuff that's probably been brought up a hundred times and I didn't notice, the guys at IGN didn't know what it was but yeah, this guy sells equipment apparently.
Above you can read, from top to bottom:
I'm guessing those are: Main Weapon, Secondary Weapon, Armor (Protector according to the video) and Accessory. I can't read many Kanjis but I see the Kanjis for the main weapon and secondary weapon are the same but one.
- Assassin Knife
- Handgun
- Dark Inner
- Fashion Glass
Well, I am sure there will be more than just 3 persons and a mascot cat. Persona 3 and 4 has more than that, so no reason to believe there will be only 3 + mascot this time.
Meh, even if the cat turns out to learn stuff like Debilitate or War Cry, I am sure I can manage without it. Never a fan of using mascot character; I rarely used Ken in P3/P3FES/P3P or Teddie back in P4/P4G anyways.
I may be ultra LTTP on this, but O remember seeing some people expressing doubt at the translation indicating that the game is in fact in a juvenile detention center so O just wanted to say that the phrase 「学園ジュブナイル」 taken from here, pretty much literally 学園 "campus" and ジュブナイル juvenile. Juvenile is literally juvenile written in katakana, a loanword. They intended to evoke the meaning of that English word. Based on that there is absolutely no way that there's some funky mistranslation going on, it's a juvenile detention center, and it's very common for anyone under 20 in Japan to go there after sentencing.
Basically, if anyone was dubious of this translation, there's no reason to be. Again, probably LTTP but I just wanted to dispel any doubt.
I found it weird that the IGN guys didn't notice that this screen also gives you the name of the Protagonist's Persona.
Who? I don't believe such a character existed in Persona 3; otherwise I would have used him in my party a few times.

Ken Amada.
The little boy.

You know, the kid that the the P3P FeMC can play around in a creepy way with
You must be mistaken, the playable characters in Persona 3 were cool teenagers and an awesome dog, no children.
Ken is an awful character, so let's just ignore him, shall we?

Huh, the characters are actually in a juvenile detention center? I thought they were in a normal high school, until now, despite the confusion.
You better be glad this is on PS4, because there's no way I'd let you borrow my PS3 for this shit. HYPEit's probably a high school for delinquents
The Protagonist is Clark Kent.

Edit: sorry for double post. Thread not moving fast enough for late comer hype.
A high school for delinquents would make sense. That's something I'd be real interested in hearing about; I hope it's part of the info we get next week.
it's probably a high school for delinquents
If this is a delinquent filled high school, at least one student needs a sick pomp.
do those exist in japan, they seem to be a prominent trope
I really never hear about them in the US.
I mean there are high school students who are not the most well-behaved all around the world.
It's not really a japanese thing.
But I don't hear about schools for delinquents. But I know that idea is used in battle royale.
edit: ah ok
The teacher throws a book at protag because he's staring out the window
it's probably a high school for delinquents
The teacher throws a book at protag because he's staring out the window. I guess that I can't make my character into a mega nerd and have him pass all his tests with straight A's lol.
A high school renowned for delinquents having such snobbish-looking uniform seems weird.

You're trying to make the delinuquents into better people.
Explains why the teacher throws chalk too.
