For trophy deletion, will it apply to trophy lists across all platforms? So ps3, and vita included?

an you confirm data backup tool? I bought a 2TB HDD for upgrade. Just waiting on the backup tool.

he wasn't very clear on that reply. does that mean PS4 games only? or PS4 console only? because I can see the PS3/Vita not being able to do that without an update.

I'd take the ability to back up my games on HDD over any of these features.

FUck having to redownload all my games ... Get your shit together Sony :(

Yes.

Speaking of the rest mode, I've heard a few people having troubles with their downloads stalling. I'm trying to download The Last of Us now overnight, should I put it in rest mode?

Im happy theyre adding the ability to delete 0 trophy games. stupid game room.

would be nice if they updated like the xbox. having to sync every time is annoying. it takes especially long for me because a friend has a hidden profile and I have to wait for the rest of his profile to time out.

It should do quite a bit. The power ramps up from rest mode while it downloads to near being in the XMB levels anyway, so the small power of rest mode actually resting would just be eliminated.

Mines always worked fine, just go into settings and make sure it's set to use network features while in rest mode and then you're fine.

60 fps Shareplay and Remoteplay. Why not 60 fps Twitch streaming? The PS4 is uploading a video stream of the game in all 3 cases.

Perhaps you're really sensitive to input lag. I barely notice it unless my connection is bad.

It's "hidden" inside Settings->PSN->Privacy Settings->Connect with Friends

Will this update include the ability to back your HDD up to another when upgrading to a larger HDD? I remember seeing a leaked screen of it.

Nice to see an update that does more than stability, but goddamnit I need USB HDD support for playing videos. I know multiple people who are waiting for this, so they can pack their PS3s away for good, but this simple feature doesn't seem to be on Sony's radar.

In “Yukimura,” a screenshot will automatically be captured at the moment a Trophy is earned, making it easier than ever for you to share your greatest gaming moments with your friends. We’re also adding more sorting options along with the new ability to remove games from the Trophy list that have 0% completion.

I hope the screenshot function can be set according to the type or rarity of the trophy. I have no use for a feature that automatically captures all bronze and common trophies.

It's great to be able to remove those 0% PS+ games from the list, as hiding them didn't hide them from the system user.

Goddamn it takes them almost 6 months to come out with an update that looks similar to 1 month's of Microsoft's. Having my PS4 as my multiplatform choice is becoming constantly more frustrating with the OS. Still no online friend notifications, but instead we get forced screenshots of trophies...who even asked for that? Hopefully we can disable it.

Suspend resume is great, but should have been in at launch. 60fps remote play is the real bonus feature but we'll see what network conditions it works under.

What? The monthly updates on Xbox One in isolation are much smaller than this update.

Also, what's with the nearly all ps4 games? Sounds half arsed and looks a bit iffy. Perhaps it is mainly to do with already released games and games going forward will be ok? Fingers crossed.

Can I please have the 'BE OFFLINE' mode which was promised by Shu at e3 2 years ago ffs...

Maybe you should get an Xbox One if you think the OS is much better? A lot of the updates that Microsoft lists as updates from month to month are so insignificant that they're barely worth mentioning. Both OSes still need a lot of work, but the grass is always greener on the other side and all that.

My next wish list:
-Favorite friends or a way to organize my list.
-Steam-style organization of personal profiles.
-Stability update.
-Record 15-30 seconds of video before the trophy was unlocked.
-Trophy progress for those doing a game with collectibles.

Technically its your own network so you only have your network/isp/country to blame if you cant handle 60fps remote play.
