Ah yes...the Yokai whose entire history proves to me that most yokai story must have generally come from a bunch of bored ass dudes drunk around a campfire trying to one up each other with crazy stories.

Literally the story goes that a samurai is walking along, then some spirit (a yokai) appears and bends over, spread cheeks it and reveals an eyeball in their butt looking at the samurai.

Ah yes, the shiri-me. Fun fact: when we were working on the Muramasa DLC stories, we sent images of that and the tanuki testy attack to the ESRB to see if we had to submit the DLC for an additional rating (if DLC content is more extreme than that found in the OG game, you have to submit for another rating).

The original response was, "Um, what exactly are we supposed to be looking at here?" I ended up having to write a short synopsis of the above, as well as the backstory of tanuki in general.

It was pretty amusing.

I have no clue. Almost every character has at least one variation that I like. If I had to throw some names out there, then it'd be Liu Kang, Cassie, Raiden, Kotal, and Johnny.

Season's Beatings Velocity occupies a very special place in my heart for being one of the first real moments where I saw how truly Mahvel™ Marvel 3 was going to become for better and worse. The Good vs Evil event, Viscant v Rog runback, and Flocker v Viscant were just too hilarious.

It was also one of my first real experiences with Stream Monster GAF/Fighting-GAF in the thread for the event and that shit was absolutely great.
