Exactly what I am hoping for. Going with a i5 2500k, GTX 980 and 16GB RAM. Should be enough for Ultra 60fps.

Sort of. There were some really nice reflections that didn't make it into the final product even on PC.

If the game is third person online 30fps won't really matter to me. If it does end up being only first person it needs to be 60fps.

This is actually something I had totally forgotten about. If that other poster was right in saying it is mainly 3rd person, then I could easily see them bumping down to 30fps on consoles.

If it is true and it's 3rd person a majority of the time, give me a locked 30fps and decent resolution on consoles over...whatever the hell Hardline is.

Well I believe it was initially annouced to be 1080p 60fps. The end result was 900p on PS4 and 720p and XBONE and the game almost never actually hits 60fps. The frame rate is kinda all over the place.

Kind of hoping they pull a Killzone: Shadowfall where singleplayer is 30 and MP is 60. That would be the bees knees. Maybe even the wasp's wrists.

I think the foliage plays a part more than the motion blur. The most recent image is missing some of that dense, high-off-the-ground leafy foliage, and that's one of the more difficult things to achieve in a dense forest setting.

But I recall people complaining about the buggy state of the game. Still, visually it delivered.

Yeah, that old footage just looks better, more realistic. The foliage and trees look much more realistic.

Not saying that screenshot looks bad, but it doesnt quite live up to the old teaser footage (but then again they never said that was gameplay)

If there ever was a game where making it a pretty as it can be triumphs over 60fps it's this one.

Well frame rate and resolution plays a big part in how a game looks but I guess it all depends on the player how much it "delivered visually", but I do think BF looks fine and generally plays pretty welll.

Still, I am hoping that they somehow pull off 1080p and a solid 60fps for Battlefront, but if it plays similarly to BF4, that wont be a horrible thing.
