I don't think that's how it works. These things are planned months in advance and they usually can't change a bunch of things last minute.

Bu...bu...but 2 years ago they definitely changed the price and their DRM plans between MS's conference and their own!!111!1

I'm concerned about their conference. I want to see what WWS has in store, but their focus seems to have shifted to co-marketing. They have to give a lot of time to battlefront, and a ton to Blops if the rumors are true. And of course destiny for the millionth time. We need to see something from- scej, media molecule, sony bend, guerilla, sucker punch, uncharted 4 (obviously), quantic dream, R+C remake, morpheus, polyphony digital, last guardian?

There are even more studios, considering I didn't even list SSM. Hopefully they can find a balance for all of this and not bloat their conference with 3rd party.

I don't think there is any need for concerns. Sony will have what?!..maybe 3 or 4 press conferences this year. It's true they will not show everything they have on E3, but they definitely won't have a 2 hour long conference to show nothing.

Honestly not really feeling the hype this year. Knight comes out next month, MGSV is Sept, UC4 already delayed, GOW kind of already teased to be shown at the PS event, don't really care for a 299 announcement since i already own the damn thing. But hey if they have big surprises then great.

Meh. Not expecting much. Maybe this way I'll be impressed. I'm actually thinking of selling my PS4... not much that I enjoy to play on it tbh.

GT7 prologue could make it this year, or GT6 remaster.

GT7 Prologue makes sense, but I don't see Sony wasting their time with a GT6 remaster. I know GT6 sales were affected by PS4 launch, but I see Sony cutting loses with that game and going forward with GT7/GT7 Prologue.

I'd imagine we see a gt6 remaster for this year, and a gt7 teaser with no release window/

Kaz already said no GT6 remaster or GT7 prologue they are going full force developing GT7

Am looking forward to it but this year's E3 doesn't have me hype up yet. Maybe when is closer and we star hearing more rumblings. This year's feel s different don't know why...

How many hours is it this year? I'm thinking they only need about 30 mins this year? If it's 2 hours again I'm guessing a large amount of time will be dedicated to Powers Season 2.

I wouldnt mind that. As long as it's not Ken, Akuma or someone like that, i'm going to be happy. I just hope the poster with Alex in SFxTK means he will be in and wasnt just there for no reason.

I expect Ken, Akuma, Cammy and Zangief from the SF2 cast to be announced eventually. They're probably just too popular for Capcom to cut out of the initial roster. But that would still leave them with plenty of space for new characters as well as characters from Alpha, 3 and 4. Maybe they'll even get around to EX characters. :p

Well, we know they don't dedicate much time to Vita. PS3 is pretty much done. So this year's E3 should be all dedicated to the PS4. PS4's major releases have been delayed for this year (R&C, UC4) and Sony has said that they have learned from their past mistakes and not to reveal big games too early.

All of that put together, means that they pretty much should only have indies to show. I hope no one is seriously hoping for a big reveal that nobody saw coming that will miraculously release this holiday. There is absolutely no way that will happen. Something would have leaked by now and it's just not reasonable for a big game that will release in 6 months to only now be shown.

On top of that, VR is extremely difficult to show on stage. That is something that is better reserved for floor demos.

If it's anything longer than an hour this year, I will bet that the general GAF consensus will be that Sony's show dragged worse this year than any year before it.

I refuse to let hype get to me.
I'm a stone wall, and nothing will set my hopes up
I'm going to be disappointed either way

You sure about all of that? It's kind of ridiculous to say they have absolutely nothing to show.

I can't wait for the 5 minute trailer of a stupid spaceship landing on an a procedural generated planet.

For fucks sakes......

Anyway I can't wait for some Morpheus goodness. I'm expecting to get a launch date and final price for Project Morpheus this E3.

powers only lasted for at max 5 mins out of 120+ minutes. people really blow the whole thing out of proportion.

I'm sure they have lots of indies to show. As far as big games, they shouldn't have much unless they are going back on their "we won't show games too early" thing. More SFV and UC4 footage?

I hope they actually get more time this year for Season 2. It looks very promising (I'm a fan of season 1) because it looks like they are moving the show towards being more in line with the comics after seeing what happened in the season finale.
Retro Girl is killed and Calista gains powers to become the next Retro Girl.
Would be pretty awesome if they were able to show maybe a teaser showing that the budget for effects has been increased somewhat.

I like Cammy and Gief, but i'd switch Ken with Sean or maybe even Mel? And Vega instead of Akuma. Whatever Ono decides to do with the roster, he knows what he's doing and it should turn out good.

Fixed that for ya

Oh hai Shawn, I didn't know you had a Neogaf account. :p

No love for Gio? :(

Lots of love for Gio after he was the one to announce Yakuza 5. Not to mention he was an all-round great presence at PSX. But I don't think he's ever appeared at an E3 conference before, has he? He's not playing too prominent a role as a presenter right now so his name didn't occur to me, but Sony should definitely bring him on stage more often now.

so that he can announce Shenmue 3

I'm expecting there to be a nice big helping of Destiny at Sony's conference. They'll be pimping the Comet expansion more than likely.

sony attends 4 big conferences. i really don't know why people put so much focus on e3. if sony ever focuses on a single conference their show would run for 6 hours.

i take what playstation shows during that span of 4 months and look at their content. when you look at what playstation showed last year at e3, gamescom, tgs, and psx, it's not even a contest because of how much games they tried to shove to us. other pubs only have 1 the whole year. ea, ubi, xbox, etc. only showcase once a year (yes, xbox doesn't really show much at gamescom, last year was an exception. before that it was basically non-existent).

i also feel like we'll get nicer reveals on psx. sf5 and uc4, for example (had sf5 not leaked).

No way Ken gets left behind.

Of course he's going to be in. He's Ken after all!

PSX was his first appearance on a Playstation stage, but it's time for his E3 debut.
