I know that. Sony has arguably the strongest stable of 1st party studios. But it still doesn't change the fact that we aren't going to get a big game revealed for the first time 6 months or less before it releases.

I wonder if Wattam's ready to show.
I'd be happy if Keita Takahashi just shows up on stage with a new utensil though.
sony attends 4 big conferences. i really don't know why people put so much focus on e3. if sony ever focuses on a single conference their show would run for 6 hours.
i take what playstation shows during that span of 4 months and look at their content. when you look at what playstation showed last year at e3, gamescom, tgs, and psx, it's not even a contest because of how much games they tried to shove to us. other pubs only have 1 the whole year. ea, ubi, xbox, etc. only showcase once a year (yes, xbox doesn't really show much at gamescom, last year was an exception. before that it was basically non-existent).
i also feel like we'll get nicer reveals on psx. sf5 and uc4, for example (had sf5 not leaked).
I'd really like that and I could see it happening if there was a few more months between the Konami implosion and E3. TGS maybe? But I guess at that point they would just go for a standard press release.
for the love of god do not make this 2 hours. also hopefully they learned how to properly pace a conference this time.
Yea they did.Wait, did Square change their time?
You see I think it makes all the sense in this world. It happens all the time, the time of events is modified so it's more convenient for a wider audience, from F1 at night in Asia to La Liga games at noon so China can watch them.
Vita-3000. Believe.
Please be real
That was the best part about PSX, poor Keita was probably nervous as fuck. I would like a short trailer for Wattam.

Vita is dead.
I don't have a problem with the pacing or the length, but say they learned how to "properly pace a conference"; Why would the conference being 2 hours long be a problem if it is paced well?
Who cares about the song and dance. I just want games, pace them however you like.
3 A.M.
Sony really cares about Europe. :-(
Is it not 2am?

Little Big Planet 3.
The Europeans here bitching about the time is cute.
Central Europe. Not the rebellious island in the west
Vita is dead.
Fact? According to who? Why not?
But have to skip
hype trains are more about the ride than the destination
If you can't make it then I recall someone saying that you can give the invitation to someone else in your place.
Oh dang, another late nighter. Staying up to two in the morning kinda makes it feel more epic in a way though, I'll have to admit.
I won't ask for much, all I want to see is The Last Guardian, Shenmue HD/3, Gravity Rush 2 and Ni no Kuni 2. If they show/announce those games, then I might give their conference a thumbs up.
Obligatory picture of this gen's best video game protagonist to drum up the GR hype...
It's the same time it always is, man. We all live in different timezones and deal with this for events in different parts of the world. You're gonna have to get over it sooner or later.
You have to wait a bit longer.Oh man I hope we get a Gravity Rush 2, while they are at it port GR1 to PS4 so people who missed a really good game don't go straight into GR2 without a clue.
What's worse is we knew it was going to happen like every year. I am also unlucky with the 2am time. I booked the Tuesday off over a month ago knowing this.
The sun will be coming up when the conference finishes.
Hey at least we don't have to pay ourselves into oblivion when we have health related problems. Take that Merica! *waves European Union flag*The Europeans here bitching about the time is cute.
Ok I shouldn't have used that wording. But you don't think it's highly HIGHLY unlikely that a big game isn't going to see it's first reveal to the world only 6 short months from it's release? I mean some games go gold by like 6 months out.
I mean it's not even like we've gotten a leak about this supposed big secret holiday release.
Can you name some of the big games that were announced 6 months from release date for the very first time?
