YES this one :)

I spent a lot of time as a kid trying to understand how the pilots inside the cars would deal with driving upside down and stuff. I wish they'd explain that.

Wow that new trailer looks amazing! Thread title should definitely be changed to say its the Rollcage 'spiritual successor' . Ot looks rrally good for a game that is not yet on kickstarter.

Op should also mention its planned for PC ans PS4!

KS has been reviving lots of genre's lately, why not the combat racer.

Someone work on a Burnout pre-Paradise spiritual successor next, please.

Rollcage was my jam, can't wait for this Kickstarter to launch.

Edit: This thread title definitely needs "Rollcage" in it somewhere.

Holy shit that's awesome never knew about rollcage which this like an modern version of.

Rollcage was amazing man. Driving on the roofs, the aggressiveness of the weapons. Its awesome. People need to share this pls, its not gonna be an easy kickstarter so spread the word if you like what you see !

Pie and Beans

Look for me on the local news, I'll be the guy arrested for trying to burn down a Nintendo exec's house.
Get Rollcage in that topic title. This shit be glorious.

fuck yes, that looks awesome!

Have they confirmed that they are going to have destructible landmarks and buildings?

EDIT: are there any talks of a console version?

Ahaha, great one!

Anyway, not even a big fan of Rollcage but this looks fantastic and exactly how I would show off a prototype of my project. Already much better than anything shown from the Formula Fusion team!

Now I just hope they don't mess up their Kickstarter campaign!

They are just 2 devs so they'll need all the help they can for the kickstarter. Please help spread the word :) I helped them doing that little logo animation at the end and maybe more.

A title change from a mod would definitely help already by saying 'Grip Prototype Trailer (Rollcage spiritual successor, planned for PC/PS4')

That's a one great goddamn trailer.

Game's looking slick. I never played roll cage, is the ceiling driving mechanic based entirely on the physics engine, or is there some allowance to it, ie while it's realistic to drive on the wall that like at high speeds, doing so on the ceiling at any speed without there being some type of downward slope is somewhat unrealistic.

Short of it: Can we drive on the ceiling at any point or is it only possible at some points?

Depends on your speed normally, if your fast enough you can, otherwise you'll fall

No one wants a throne you've been sitting on!
Pretty cool trailer, but for some reason this reminded me of a 3DO game. lol

The first person view with guns blazing was pretty damned awesome. Got some flashbacks to hi-octane the futuristic racing game by bullfrog back on the PC.

A 3DO game? Yeah that first person view got me really excited :)

I am cautiously optimistic. These racers always look like they could be good, but most of the time they disappoint.

If they do a PS4 version I will definitely back it as well.
