It's weird, even though Piper was supposed to be a bad guy, I always ended up liking him.

He was the realest person on the mic -- maybe that's why. Just seemed as though he was the person you were supposed to be listening to.

WTF is happening to wrestlers pasing away so early WTF MAN

They abused their bodies, so many of them take steroids, many of them are addicted to pain killers, do drugs, and abuse alcohol eventually that shit catches to you, Eddie Guerrero did all to his body and even after he clean up his act the damage was too much.

RIP Hot Rod..

Sooo I ended up watching the video of him on The Rich Eisen Show or whatever it's called from last week.

It's pretty sad indeed the rambling, mind is starting to go state he was in, but the end was pretty touching where he's talking about Ronda Rousey asking for his blessing to use the nickname "Rowdy." He died the day before one of her fights, eep.

If that is the case, his mind went decades ago.

He was my favorite wrestler growing up, and I never thought that he would end up being great in what would be a timeless, legendary movie. They Live is always going to be relevant. RIP.

Doesn't seem like his cancer came back. He was just podcast feuding with Austin. Must have been a heart attack or something.

Sucks that he beat cancer and then died of something else :(

Fuck, legends are leaving us left and right. Will watch They Live again, his performance is what makes that movie special. Rest in peace, Hot Rod.

He's always been that way. It was part of his persona

damn I was just thinking about him today

I watched Louis Therouxs wild weekends where he visits Wcw and there's a bit where he interviews Piper, he seemed insane back then!

Damn shame RIP

Fucking damnit no. One of my favourite wrestlers growing up as a kid :( At least he remained a legend without anything as far as I know painting him as a complete prick.

Damn, I just saw him last November. He seemed so happy and nice. Was taking pictures and signing at a convention & was having a great time doing it. RIP

He was the badguy every wrestler wishes they could become. There was no one better and he never once had the championship.

Amazingly the man has turned his life around. DDP has done miracle work with Hall and Jake
