So on reddit the Dice guys say that you have to signup for the beta but everyone will get in.

Why not just release the beta without signups?

Great news...this will help me decide whether or not to purchase the game. Given the track record of online games on day one I'm going to wait and see how it works in real world settings first though regardless of my impressions.

Really a make or break beta for me. Im hearing so many bad things from sources I trust - but I have to play it for myself to judge.

Destiny's beta saved me $60 bucks - maybe this will do the same.

BETA is coming to all platforms - that's the positive.

The negative is no date. When the specific date gets announced we'll know if PS4 gets early BETA access or not (either similar to Black Ops III or not).

The other negative is EA Access tweets and mentions that are off-topic that as we know will arouse unneeded discussion. Only takes one post to derail.

Looking forward to it. Hopefully we get to play as Vader/Luke.

I hope you understand that playing for 10 hours in one day probably isn't the norm.

10 hours is more than enough time to decide whether or not you actually want to buy a game, and you're playing the full game, potentially with friends, too.

this won't be tied to any pre-orders it will just be open the consoles as to which one gets it first is still to be decided especially with ea access on the xbox...

Or if you're really hurting to keep playing, you can spend $5 on a spare account to get EA Access there and continue playing using its access time.

Anyways, the beta was expected. I still think the launch is going to be a mess.

I have the game preordered on PS4, and have an EA Access subscription, so wondering if I get to play on Xbox while waiting for the PS4 release.

Yes, it follows the same rules as any other game on EA Access. You can play on X1 using EA Access to try it out, then decide to buy on PS4.

Sounds good. I have already decided to put this on the buy later list, so at least I can get some time with it anyway. I will honestly be too busy with Destiny and Halo 5.

Topic is about the beta and not EA Access...


I expect the Beta running for 1 week. Maybe 2.

If by "it" you mean beta, where does it say that PS4 has it first?
If by "it" you mean the game, the most certainly not. You don't keep the progress from the beta and you don't get access to the full modes and maps and guns.
So Xbox One still gets "it" first.

Can't wait to try it on all 3 platforms. Leaning on PC, but have it preordered on Xbox One. Will cancel it if it's less than 900p and get it on PC.
