Witcher 3 has to be there, it even get's a retail release for the first expanison:

The-Witcher-3%3A-Wild-Hunt-Hearts-of-Stone---PlayStation-4

Is it possible for Bandai Namco to object to GamesMarkt publishing sales numbers of their individual games?

just assume Bandai Namco didn't want specific sales for each game listed and move on, we don't need 6874621 more posts about how The Witcher 3 isn't there

FAR CRY 4 IN TOP 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
EDIT: No, is not. :(
This chart should be ordered by unit sold...

Also, GTA is a truly monster. just wow, first in the 3* year of sales...

The chart is ordered by the number that subscribers of GamesMarkt care about. :p

I am really happy to see Bloodborne and shocked to see The Order 1886. AFAIK, the game's last known LTD in NPD was less than 300k. So it might have sold better in Europe.

If Bruno compiled this list, perhaps he can shed some light on where Witcher 3 is. If it didn't make the Top 20...where did it fall in terms of sales units/revenue/price?

Edit: Happy to see Bloodborne on the list and surprised to see The Order: 1886 there as well. Happy for RAD though.

Witcher 3 missing while Batman Arkham Knight is on the list is definitely an error. Based on the sales numbers it should be at the very least right behind Arkhman Knight if not in front of it because it came out a month ahead..

What sales numbers? We just have UK launch numbers.

Edit - I found PS4 version of The Witcher 3 sold over 200k in Germany for example.... that and UK give us already 300k... so something is really off.

List is arranged by total revenue generated. Not units sold.

Was Witcher 3 a full price title? If so then yeh, I'd expect it there.

Ohhhhh it makes sense.

Maybe even with ~500k units sold they did have low revenue due deals/half-price (the game got a unofficial price cut to $49 after a week... the price in GMG reached $30 in May).

No, this List includes June sales. At this time we also know that it sold at least 200000 on PS4 in Germany alone.
It's definitely an Error or there is a reason that it is not shown, but saleswise probably both the UK and Germany would have made the list independently.

@ZhugeEX already give the hint... the ranking is ordered by revenue.

The Witcher 3 got a lot of deals/pricecut (it reached $30 in May) and could have a low revenue compared with others full priced games.

The avg. price could be €30... it needs 500k copies to reach €15m revenue (the bottom of the table).

Yeap... I don't know euro deals (most US only) :p I'm just saying the game reached $30 on PC in May.
My point is if it get these deal s in US then Europe could be the same.

Avg. price of €30 needs 500k copies to reach €15m revenue (the bottom of the list).

To get to an average of 30 it would have to be sold at way way less than 30 since there were also lots of sales at 50 or 60. That's not the reason

I don't live in Europe so I have no idea what sales you are seeing but DA:I is on the list and I find it hard to believe that the avg PC price for that game was higher than Witcher 3. The explanation above where Namco might not have wanted to participate makes the most sense (not accounting for an error).

Come on now. The average price for Witcher 3 from 19th May to end of June was not as low as €30.

I also forget about Dragon Ball Xenoverse, now it is completely evident that it's not a mistake and for some reason Bandai Namco Entertainment games weren't included.

Both The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Dragon Ball Xenoverse made the list of the 10 best-selling games in Europe during the first 5 months of the year.

(January - May 2015)

1. Grand Theft Auto V
2. FIFA 15
3. Minecraft
4. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
5. Battlefield: Hardline
6. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
7. Far Cry 4
8. Dying Light
9. Dragon Ball Xenoverse
10. The Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask

This is a top 10 by units.

I didn't say that.... I give a easy example.

It could be sold about 400k and just missed €15m because the avg. price was €37... or 300k with €50 avg price.

Bloodborne having the highest average selling price. Dat loyal hardcore Souls fanbase.

Yup.

I did my part.

I think their unique blend of single-player and multi-player makes people want to be there day one, when the player base is at its largest, and still figuring everything out.

I think this is what so many other developers want to replicate, and why we see so many others trying similar things out.

So Witcher 3 would be between 880k and 1 million units.

Let the Bandai Namco conspiracy theories begin!

My take is they're going to announce bankruptcy tomorrow

Also it could be that Koei Tecmo games are not included and Dynasty Warriors actually sold 2 million units.

Are bundled games included ?

I'm surprised not to see Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate since it sold 100k just in France (more than Majora).

2K reported 2.5 million copies shipped for Evolve. The numbers don't reallly add up?

edit. Oh it was massive on PC, digitally. SteamSpy says free weekend messes with their results.

How is this ordered? =/

Anyway, I'm surprised hardline did as well as it did, that game seems to have gotten totally forgotten about since release.
