I've been trying to get a drawing done of my girlfriend and her 5 dogs huddling around her. To be printed and put in a large-ish frame. (16x20 maybe?)

Problem is the real life photo does not exist and I've been having trouble finding someone to get it done. The only way is to send pictures of my girlfriend and the 5 dogs and just ask the artist do their best and put their own flair into it.

I am scared to be offensive and lowball people because I seriously don't know what something like this would even cost. Seriously you drew this in an hour?

I do the majority of my art digitally, but I'm working on my ink drawing this month... so these portraits were pen and brush on paper.

Crazy to see this thread pop up, but I wanted to share how awesome this turned out. I converted Prax's artwork into vector and had it printed up poster size with a metallic paper, and gave it to the kids for Christmas. I just need to get it back up on the wall.

What makes something interesting to draw is not necessarily beauty, and people tend to be overly harsh on themselves in that category, anyway. If you've gone through the thread, you'll see that those posting come in all shapes and sizes, so I wouldn't be shy.
