Yeah I remember back in 04 me hating how everything looked in those films.To be fair, all of the Spy Kids look horrendous.

With a number of exceptions that you can count on one had, pretty much any CGI from the first part of the 90s looks pretty terrible now.
Hell, even the late 90s/early 2000s Pixar stuff is starting to look a bit rough when put against modern computer animation. My 2 year old is obsessed with Finding Nemo this month, and the lower quality copy-paste fish models for the "extras" really stand out.
