Since the existing avatar request thread is (slowly) coming up to page 400 thought I'd express my interest in creating an OT2. It would be useful to be able to update it a bit with some resources, tips, and such for users, and also as frequently the same questions get asked.

Retaining the original name would be nice, due to its generic nature and being a spiritual continuation of the first, but not sure if there are rules about title differentiation.

How does import threads work? Should I reserve that as well? In that case:

I came to request this but it appears to already be claimed by multiple people lol. I'd love to help if possible.

Also is there a limit on how many OT's a person can make? I've claimed a few and they are basically done, I'm ust awaiting release. I'd love to do more but I don't want to be greedy either lol.

eh, I was going to ask in here if it was OK to make an import thread since the japanese version comes out only 2 weeks or so earlier. then again, after asking in the other thread, it seems like I'm not the only one importing so I suppose an import OT is gonna be necessary.
I didn't think you were going to do this one as well since I thought you weren't importing the game? Hence I was planning on making it, but if you're doing it then no problem.

I can help you out if you need / want, as long as it doesn't involve using stuff like photoshop.

My gut feeling is that if it only comes out 2 weeks ahead, then it only really needs one OT, and it should just go up at the earliest release.

Yeah, I remember mods aren't too keen on people making import threads for games they're not actually importing. Maybe that's changed, dunno.

In general it should be a rule that to do an OT for a game =s actually owning said title.

Is there an Advance Wars Community thread/Advance Wars Dual Strike OT for the original game or the DS Wii U VC? Only one I can see is the Advance Wars GBA Wii U VC OT.

Maybe, never done an OT before and I'm not really interested in making/maintaining them either - I could've sworn there was an Advance Wars-mad poster on GAF, I would've thought they'd have done one.

If you dont mind spending the time doing it you might as well? Though it depends on if you care about a potential low population due to most folks waiting for the English Language versions.

I want to claim the My Hero Academia OT for the Anime releasing on April, I did the original manga OT (I was not aware it was going to become the OT at the time, but it has a fairly decent amount of active posters every week)

Hate having to do this, but at least it is a very rare case with all of the OTs I do. That and lately import OTs in general have fairly low turnout so not as concerned that there is a ton of folks waiting.

still am a bit caught up with other things at the moment so will have to go up on the 11th late evening most likely.

have a bit of an emergency here that am taking care of so will have to do the very rare occasion of putting the import OT on ice. Considering have a long track record of being on schedule, do hope the rest of the community can forgive me for having to put the breaks on finishing up the import OT for the time being. Real unfortunate circumstances at the moment. Once things are resolved will see about if I can just put one up just to have it here on the forums.
