There likely won't be any live reporting from this event as that appears prohibited. However, the above tweeters usually provide summaries/comments on the event, regardless of being there or not.

Information from the event last time (FY 15 Third Quarter Financial Results Briefing) started appearing on Nintendo's IR page roughly two hours after the event (presentation + Q&A) had commenced.

Nintendo FY 15 Third Quarter Financial Results Briefing

Excerpts from the presentation

We plan to release our new concept game system, currently being developed under the codename "NX," in March 2017.
We will take another opportunity prior to the release to discuss the features and price of the NX, as well as the software lineup for launch.

We do not plan to show the NX at the E3 show in Los Angeles in June. We will introduce the NX at another time later this year.
Our E3 experience will focus on the latest title in The Legend of Zelda series. We have already released The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for Wii U and Hyrule Warriors Legends for Nintendo 3DS this year. Thirty years have passed since the release of the first title in The Legend of Zelda series, and we have even more in store for the future.

Next, I would like to discuss our strategy for production and shipping of Wii U in the fiscal year ending March 2017. We plan to greatly reduce the amount of Wii U systems produced and shipped for the fiscal year ending March 2017, compared to the fiscal year ended March 2016.
Taking into consideration demand for the new NX hardware and overall demand forecasts, we plan to ship 800,000 units.

Thanks as always for your excellent threads, Rösti.

I'm looking forward to seeing what new insights into the last 24 hours of news this briefing brings. It's been a humdinger, that's for sure.

How long will it take for the information to get out there? I'm already tired and can't be bothered waiting around if it's going to be like an hour or something.

...

I hope the first question is: "Do you really mean all you said last night about NX and Zelda?" And that the answer is "No."

Investor: Riding the bus here takes too long. Why can't you set us up in a hotel and send us a limo? also can you begin to serve food next time?

Nintendo: o.o

Judging by last year's briefing, around half an hour to an hour. If nothing gets leaked from the meeting, then news will slowly trickle out and and online version will eventually get posted.

All I'm looking for is elaboration on yesterday's news and anything new that can be said about licensing. There are all these rumors of Nintendo getting involved in TV and film, and I want to get the announcements sooner than later.

After last night's shitshow, does anybody actually care? Unless they're announcing that NX has Polaris 10 and Zen for $350 along with every major third-party game from Q4 2016 and Q1 2017, there's nothing they can do to redeem themselves to me right now.

That's just you then?????????

Threads like this make me realize GAF is hardcore. This is a meeting for shareholders, yet gamers stay up late for it.

They delayed it a few months from what we're expecting. It happens, it's disappointing, it's not that big of a deal imo.

Skiesofwonder

Walruses, camels, bears, rabbits, tigers and badgers.
I expect lots of financial mumbo jumbo and information on fire emblem/animal crossing (mobile). Everything else will be answered with cryptic code and diversion.

The sad thing? This is the last time Nintendo will even acknowledge the existence of NX until E3. Doom and gloom will fill the void between now and then.

They can delay NX to 2018 as long as I don't have to whale too hard to get Lucina in the mobile game. That will tide me over

Wow... They didn't even the delay the damn thing so I don't see how last night was a shitshow aside from a Zelda delay.

Two simple questions are needed:

"What is the NX really?"

"What the hell are you doing?"

1. "As you might be aware, we are currently developing new dedicated gaming platform under the codename 'NX', which is scheduled for release globally in March 2017. We have no further announcements to make about NX today. We hope to share more information by the end of the year. Thank you for your understanding."

2. "Thank you for your question. Our current responsibility as a company is to put smiles on the faces of everyone Nintendo touches. We will do so through expanding the gaming population that has access to Nintendo IP. This goal cannot be achieved just through one or even two business ventures, but a number of different opportunities that expand the reach of our properties around the world. These include our investments in software for smart devices, as well as development of dedicated gaming platform, codename 'NX', that has a brand-new concept. Please look forward to more information and developments concerning these businesses in the future."

Your posts are as big of a shitshow as Nintendo's last 24 hours lol.

The launch date (if it's even true and not just another lie) is the last thing I'm upset about. Screwing over Wii U owners with the Zelda bait-'n-switch, waiting until the last minute to tell us not to expect NX at E3, giving us no idea of when to expect it, only having one playable game at E3... The point is, they fucked up. They fucked up hard. They haven't learned anything from their past failures, so they need something huge to make up for it. Unfortunately, we know that they'll just half-ass it. Never in my life did I think that a company could screw up so badly at such a crucial time.

And before you say that I'll just buy it anyway, I'll remind you that I skipped Wii U and have no regrets, especially after last night.
