Will we ever see a GOTY version of The Witcher 3 and a version containing all DLCs of Batman Arkham Knight since all DLCs are out now?

I don't really need a tag, but I figured I'd get one to make people jealous. Is it working?

Hmm. For Witcher I wouldn't say no, but I'm not sure why they'd do something more than the Game+Season Pass deal they've already been doing. Maybe an Enhanced version to keep with tradition at some point?

I'm almost positive if they did do something like that, any additions would be free for Game+Season pass holders too.

For Batman, I don't know. Prior to their fuckups with AK and MKX I would've said sure. Now, I figure they don't bother.

Blah. Why is Deep Silver so averse to doing something good with Volition... the action has always been the worst part of their games. Unless it has geomod I can't imagine it being anything other than stunningly mediocre.

Have to disagree with you there. Love the way SR 2 and 3 played (haven't played the later games yet), and thought they were vastly better from a playability standpoint than anything Rockstar's done with the GTAs. Very much looking forward to this based on that alone.

MKX at least got MKXL on consoles. I don't know if sth like that will happen for AK.

yea this game looks boss

TW3: Blood and Wine is just fucking my PC straight up, crashed twice tonight from what I presume is overheating, I think I should dust this thing out and turn some settings down.

Im kinda scared to start B&W with all of these crash issues being mentioned here and in other threads. Base TW3/HoS run fine, but make my 970's fans go crazy, so I shudder to think what B&W will be like.

Playing better than GTA isn't a high bar.

The thing for me is, the most fun I had in Saint's Row had nothing to do with the combat. It was the wackiness that did the most for me, with customisation in a close second.

I guess I shouldn't judge it too harshly considering the low amount of info out on it, but I can't help but be pessimistic about it with Volition's history of "action games" in mind.

Neo Scavenger installed, so let's see how fast I die. Perfect for playing on my stripped down PC.

The RPGCodex review speaks of some debatable game design choices in this one.

"During this quest you'll face various CYOA-like events, and that's where things get complicated. In tight situations, having the right skills/items and making the correct choices will allow you to survive unharmed – and maybe even get some bonus loot – while a less stellar performance might leave you severely injured, with broken ribs, or even diseased. That's all well and good in a survival game like this. What isn't so good is how making the wrong choices can (and will) outright kill you. For example, at one point midway through the storyline, a character asked me to take one of three trials: Light, Water or Fire. A wrong choice in this event can lead to your death:

This would be mildly annoying in a regular RPG, a stupid obstacle that forces you to reload. But in a roguelike with permadeath, it's hell. Choose the wrong answer? Your character is erased and you’re thrown back to the main menu. Better start all over again and pray that next time you get it right."

Damn, that witcher 3 mod looks amazing. I played through the base game on ps4, is there any way I can get the game+season pass on steam and load up a base game save so I can play through the DLCs?

Hmm, yeah you can start a character appropriately leveled just for the DLC.

I'm only allowed to fully advocate Takane in the thread if anything else idolmaster related comes to Steam, hold me to my word.

Slitherine: Steam refunds not harming sales

We have a total of 117 SKUs on Steam, so we have a pretty good overall picture of how our types of games would probably fare within the Steam returns policy. In our list of games, we have full games, expansions, DLC, bundles and packages, as well as a few extras like soundtracks and e-books that are usually sold in conjunction or in addition to a full game.

The overall return rate for all of the SKUs has been 1.99% on number of units sold and 4.16% on value. The difference in percentage here is due to a number of reasons, but mainly to the fact that units (or Steam keys) redeemed from external sites are non-refundable. So places like Humble Bundle, Bundle Stars or even our own site, where we give a Steam key to redeem the product on Steam on top of the game's serial number, have an impact on the overall numbers.

Full games are, of course, the ones that have a bigger impact on the general numbers, especially in value, but also in terms of number of units. Returns on units sold for full, stand-alone games, were 2.28%, while in value the returns were 5.07%. For DLC and expansions, in units sold returns were 0.32% and in value 0.46%. For packages and bundles, in units sold returns were 2.81% and in value 2.3%.

The full game with the highest level of returns in units had a total of 9.83% rate, while in value the highest was 12.01%. Every other game was well under 10% and outside of the first 10 games, everything else was under 5% return rate overall, both in units and in value. Bigger franchises like Panzer Corps and Close Combat had return rates of less than 2%, both in units and value.

These are the dry numbers and there is a lot of food for thought here.

Do I even have to say.

Aha. It's okay man, took me a while as well.

If you want my advice on an easy way to get used to the game:

You can re-enter the facility. If you do you'll find an examination room which makes a nice safe base to sleep in.

You can kill the first dogman if you fight it with strong or melee. Fight it with both and you'll easily do it. From there if you have trapping you can use the crafting system to cut him up into a nice coat.

The crafting system is your friend. Get a bag to put equipment in and craft bandages to cover wounds, fire to clean things or cook food, make traps that you can put down in camps, etc. There's a rough recipe list that you can use as well

Talking of camps, definitely a good idea to use them. You'll get better sleep and you are less likely to be attacked during the night.

Avoid fighting unless necessary. Definitely don't fight any dogmen that you come across, the first one is weak compared to the others.

9 hours until KT HB

I should wait with Stranger of Sword City, cuz I'm not going to play it any time soon, but then again that -25% discount probably won't happen any time soon again.
or will it?

Not to be confused with The Old Blood. ;)

I don't think anybody can confuse this
with The Old Blood

Blood of Old was an EA title, wasn't it?
I know that most people got it free, but for those who bought it, this sucks, as it means it'll never be playable.

There are going to be dailies and a dope ass meta game..

b e l i e v e

Koei-Tecmo Humble Bundle

and then a Yakuza PC announcement

Anything is possible

I think a GOTY on witcher will be released on console, maybe named like Enhanced Edition. I don't really see how CDPR can "enhance" the game even more. Also all the contents should fit into a bluray, so it's very possible.

Thou shalt not take the name of the hoLYNEss in vain.
this looks like a clone of Unium, which i enjoyed considerably less

I just like mentioning the hoLYNEss at any opportunity I get
and you are right it's looks more like Unium. Unium is OK, it's no LYNE to be sure

Sorry if somebody already asked that, but is it worth to buy Mafia 2 at this current discount? Or should I wait for the summer sale for (maybe) a bigger (which I actually doubt will happen) discount or a better deal?

Buy it now, if you intend to play it now. If it's just for a +1 in your library then you probably want to wait for a bundle

Somehow people just continue to entrust EA with these games. Its like a never ending circle. BF1 will probably disappoint and many will complain this fall. Then ofc everyone will be hyped again when they unveil BF5 or wtvr in a few years. Its almost like people never learn.

You're missing the very important part where they turned BF4 around, made it work and supported the game with new, even free content and many big patches up until recently. Player base remained stable and huge on every platform, that's why many including me will be back if the beta isn't like 4. No 'but it's only a beta' this time I hope. Btw I like my occasional CoD, not a hater.

There are going to be dailies and a dope ass meta game..

Wanna bet?
