Reminds me of that slide that the late Mr. Iwata showed at one of the investor briefings.

Pretty much this. It's pretty exciting to see what new stuff Nintendo can come up with.I'm down for whatever. Surprise me Nintendo and we'll see if it's interesting enough for me to actually buy it.
Did you read the article ? “not building the next version of Wii or Wii U”
NX had a good run , March 2017 - March 2017
I really don't see what's "non-wearable" supposed to mean when it's clearly not supposed to mean things that were there before being wearable
Was Nintendo working on hardware accelerated mind control or what
Not true
Nintendo NX Will Be New Experience, Not Next Version of Wii U

I could give you a list of what nintendo has brought of gimmicks in the past beside wii.
I'm sure now you'r using every gimmick from them.
Gimme teh gimmick!
:]
Throw us a bone here. Matt, lherre, anybody!
I am still picturing NX as some type of semi-stationary device. Not really a console or a handheld. But I have no friggin idea.
This can mean anything though. You can still bring a new experience, and borrow ideas from the past at the same time. The DS did it, it simply took the dual screen concept from the Game & Watch multi-screen series, and gave it touch screen, mic, polygons, and wireless.
I am here for the experience as well, I am just getting tired of paying overly high prices for woefully under-powered hardware.
This.
We have yet to have an insider articulate what this brand new concept is. Clearly it's an integral part of NX. So it follows that, if you're in the know --> you would be able to at least describe the concept at a high level. Even just to tell us if it's closer to a traditional console or a handheld. At least the reddit hoax had a new concept.
Specs and comparisons to existing hardware aren't even in the same ballpark of discussion, imo.

It's probably the hybrid thing. Right?
Game pad with a nunchuk attached confirmed
Terrifying
For what it's worth I'm super-bummed that nobody did anything worthwhile with the Wii U Gamepad past the launch of the system with a few exceptions.
So much potential there. Fuck.
Good lord. All this chatter because of what was most likely just a throwaway comment? He basically just said "Well, we're not talking because it's not time to show it off yet" not, "Well, we're not talking because WE HAVE A NEW IDEA THAT WE'RE ADDING OMG!!!"
So the final spec is not set then? Not looking good for Nintendo. I bet most devs haven't got the kits yet too.
They never added the 2nd gamepad support they promised @E3'12.
So they are still trying to figure what to do 8 months before its launch, I'm kinda worried.
