I'm generally not a huge fan of interactive fiction but woah Out There Chronicles is so good.

It manages to suck you in in a matter of seconds with a gripping story, an original very well thought scifi world (already loved it from Out There Omega endings but here is much more panned out) and great art and musics.

Same here, playing FEZ on the go is a dream of mine that I hope becomes real

Also, thinking about getting Hyperburner, Perchang or Epic Flail...

FEZ was announced right after it came on PC but sadly with the huge mess around Phil Fish leaving, I doubt that it's ever coming to iOS. I'd find that surprising at least.

FEZ is never coming out on iOS. But I would love for BioShock to return to the App Store. I never got to try it out, and I'm curious how it would run on my iPad Pro 9.7.

That's how i finished it in the end. I played it on the Vita. Got 100% completion on Vita even though I owned it on Xbox and the nSteam day one. never completed it there lol.

He's back wit hthat super hyper cube thing so maybe it isn't off the table yet. They did a vinyl ost as well recently (that I missed sigh)

And...
Goo Saga
Titan Quest
CATTCH

I have a bit if a backlog since I dont play as many iOS games as I once did... still have to give time to Blown Away (fantastic game I absolutely love but sadly didnt get the attention it deserved, sad for the talented devs who did it), Telepaint, Egz, Power Hover and lately Redungeon... Leap Day is taking most of my iOS time and the PS4 as well (lately Witcher 3, next Uncharted 4) so Cattch, as good as it is, is getting really left behind. That plus a lovely Beagle Maya means I dont have much time left, at all.

Also, tried Goo Saga but didnt click with me. Seen that type of game too many times already.

Also have in on PS (3 & 4) and Steam but hoped for it to be released on iOS, and according to your post, there may be some hope left. Fingers crossed.

That's correct and even if I don't think it's still cmoing, it would be a nice game to have on iOS.

Soft launch for the paid version of Lumines should be coming this week or next, right?

July 19th! Though it's supposed to be the paid one so wonder how that'll work (not that we haben't seen paid soft launches)

Is there a good app or site that you can add games to and it'll alert you when an app is on sale?

There are 2. AppShopper (hasnt been updated since iOS 6 but it works). And AppZApp (not sure this one still works but it was good at the time. too many spam notifications tho).

AppShopper and also Touch Arcade apps are good for this stuff.

I just made a bookmark to Appshoppers website. You can sort by new apps or just stuff that has had a price drop, and if you make an account you can add apps you're interested in and get emails when they go on sale.

Man it sucks that I have to create a whole new Mii in Miitomo, because I installed it on a new device. Why can't one just be able to get ones profile from the sky or something, not this stupid QR code. So now I have to add new friends again?

I also can't remember, did Nintendo say if we would get one more game from them before the end of the year?

AppZapp works great and you can easily turn off notifications. Use it daily. I have it set to only notify me about games on sale that are on my wish list.

I have to second this.

AppZapper is the best one now, after that AppShopper stopped working properly.

Is Circa Infinity worth it if I love Super Hexagon?

Can I ask how far you played? The levels get much longer and more intricate. Almost Metroidvania like compared to straightforward platformers like Leo's Fortune.

Certainly one of my favorites this year so far. It's also quite difficult to three star every level.

Circa Infinity is a different beast. It's a platformer with finite levels (although it did get updated recently with an endless mode). It has a slight "arcade puzzle" aspect too, since part of the challenge is figuring out the patterns and how exactly to avoid the game's various hazards. But it's slick, fast, looks gorgeous in motion, and constantly introduces new ideas

I use Touch Arcade's price drop forum, and the app has a wish list with price drop alerts.

I also use the sight iosnoops.com, which is really comprehensive with its daily posts and includes all apps, not just games. Neither site catches everything so it's good to use both. Touch Arcade's forums are also great place for user reviews and impressions.

I find appshopper misses a lot.

Ah, yes. I meant to ask about this, but forgot. Why doesn't it receive any more updates?
As far as I remember, many years ago it was pulled from the store by Apple, so they relaunched it as "AppShopper Social" back in 2013, though my memory is really vague. I don't remember any details. But since then, there have been exactly two updates, both just shortly after the app launched. No further updates in three years. Why?

Some weird apple rule about replicating somethint that looks like an App Store or storefront even tho the app will bring more revenue to apple :/

My friend has an app about sharing your home screen (homescreen.me) and they rejected it for stupid reasons read the reasoning here - https://blog.homescreen.me/build-get-rejected-by-apple-ship-anyway-4fe5b1b8eb4#.icv7euysb

App shopper has the same problem but their app still works in the store. The app shopper website got a nice new look but the app remains the same.

If you tied it to a Nintendo account, you can just log into that on a new device and it pulls all your stuff in except for coins, I think. I've moved mine twice with zero issues this way.

I don't have a Nintendo account ever since selling my Wii U and 3DS.

I dont know, probably around 6 to 8 levels or so. Still playing Mini Dash (criminally under-rated, masterfully engineered) when I finish it I will give Goo Saga another try since it means a lot to you and normally we have the same taste in games

Anyone manage getting monster hunter to work online on iOS 10 beta 2?

Dont play it but... Monster Hunter (or Capcom and Square Enix in particular) proved to be a solid reason not to update iOS...

Huh. I thought it tied into their website as well.

I don't have a Nintendo account period, if it is the new account system you are talking about? Because it hasn't launched here in Denmark, and Miitomo haven't launched officially either. :)

I'm on it right now and all the square games work fine. I just don't want to waste my limited bandwidth to get MH if it doesn't play online. I know the game works thanks to touch arcade forums. Also I'm not holding back from an OS update because of lazy devs lol. I'll just leave a one star review for the bigger ones if they don't respond to emails about an update. I pay premium price for their ports (I have all the FF and all but 1 DQ games on iOS) they better update.

Seems like Street Kart for iOS is coming along nicely. They'll have news next week. iOS 9 killed their free voice chat, so you can chat while racing, but they are working on a fix.

Also seems like there's a 1942 spiritual sequel coming in the form of 1949 EndWar, which has be excited:

Another game that peaked my interest is Fugl, which seems to have nice animations and wildlife going on. It's still in beta, I'll see if I can get in:

The poker-solitaire mix that is Politaire should also be out by July 14.

Ah, well this explains quite a bit of your predicament, then!

First I've heard of this, thanks for posting, it sounds fantastic! I've signed up for the beta, hopefully I can give it a try early.

I think the developer has said on the Touch Arcade forums, that the beta has closed for new entries unfortunately.

I can't wait for Lumines to launch but apparently it's only a soft launch this month? I hope it'll pop up in either the American or Danish store. I haven created any other accounts, even though I should probably have a New Zealand one.

Nope. But it seems to come along nicely.

Also, is Circle Affinity kind of a "sequel" to Circa Infinity? Totally confusing.

It's a free update to the base game that adds a new mode. The exact same content can be found in a new app that serves as a "demo" of sorts to the main app.

It will be soft launched on July 19th in Japan, New Zealand and Australia. The worldwide release is set for September.

I'm surprised that there aren't more posts about Pokemon Go in this thread, given that it has taken the world by storm. I'm still waiting for it to be released here.
I'm too lazy to go wandering around outside. Long hard days at work will do that to you.

There's a whole OT thread for it where it's getting hundreds of posts. It is super popular, and I also have to admit, that it might be a top 3 mobile release this year.

Whole OT already for the game. Besides, I don't know if those of us mobile gamers really care for a game that requires so much dedication. One of the allures of mobile gaming is playing wherever you want, not wherever the game wants.

Yup. I dropped it after a day. Realized that I was not going to adjust my lifestyle for a phone game.
I did that with my PAD and Monster Strike days...Not again.

I need a new game that plays like Warhammer Quest. :| I can't find anything good.

Funny you mention that.
As a matter of fact, I started another hardcore play through 10 days ago...it was a while (like over a year).
I'm already over 30 hours in, completed Stirland and Reikland, and now I'm roaming Averland looking for legendary sets.

It is still, hands down, one of my favorite games ever, on any platform.
I still can't believe I have the Old World and my favorite boardgame ever in my pocket.
And I really can't believe after probably over 400 hours with the game, I'm still amazed and thrilled to enter another dungeon.

Despite I completed the game on hardcore several times already, I'm still finding never seen loot.
And I saw Sigmar hammer and Gotrek axe just once, years ago.

I just found (like minutes ago) a Chaos armour that I never saw before, now looking for the matching helm. (It's black, like the GW chaos warriors).
Same with the others.

What a masterpiece, I can play it forever....
It's still one of the best looking game too.
The level of details is AMAZING....when you have the gold fire rune armour for the dwarf and see the runes etched with shadows when you pan the light around....I'm still amazed.

One of the reason I'm so glad about Perchang success is because I hope in a year Rodeo will get together again and publish new quests for it.
I would pay hard cash.

Even a Silver Tower new game would do :)

Nekton atsume. Must get up to feed cats at 3am! Lol

Plus Miller says pokaman is for babies.

I'll stick to my racing games but I am eager to see all the people out wandering around in neighborhoods and in the city. I have a friend who is a bartender and he's organizing a Minneapolis pub crawl Pokémon go search. Too funny.

I never got how Neko Atsume worked. I managed to attract all of one cat. Maybe I'll start it up later in the week on my iPad.
