Watch the whole trailer before pausing to complain it's CG, folks.

Seems like there will be a lot more enemy types, and hopefully some cool locations to explore. The story will suck, most likely, just like the first one. But I really enjoyed playing it, so I will probably get this during the holidays when it will most likely go on sale by then.

It's cool that they're announcing it only half a year before release.

oof. I don't envy Giantbomb for having to pick between this and Zelda for 2017's GOTY award.

I'm still baffled how this could win. It was such a repetitive and boring game (after the first few hours). I could not bring myself to finish it.

Goddamn these fucking CG trailers

At least make a damn in-game one to go along with it

Gameplay trailer is coming on the 8th, it seems. I guess they were originally going to be paired together, but the leak forced their hand a bit.

So, seems to be they're actually
taking Celebrimbor away from you for some part of the game.
That's... actually kind of a bold move, could change up the dynamic the player has to deal with for the presumable first part of the game.

Also, calling it now, as much as it absolutely fucks with the supposed timeline placement of this game, that city is totally
Minas Ithil, to be later as Minas Morgul. It's a city smack bang in a middle of a valley close to Mordor, and Minas Ithil's entire existence is to be the block in that valley - the pass of Cirith Ungol. Indeed, some games in the past have mixed up the orc-stronghold for the Witch-King's seat, so this may be another case of that, resulting in the imagery of two towers for the game
.

Not the best trailer. But, ah you know this trailer is a decent move, otherwise they would have been quiet for 2 weeks after the leak before they made it official. and after 2 weeks news just gets cold or forgotten.

Why do people always complain about CG trailers when they know gameplay is coming sooner or later? I swear, people expect the whole game spoiled for them at once.

The first game took a giant dump on the lore, I wouldn't be expecting this one to suddenly make complete and perfect sense.

Hopefully this one doesn't come with locked on-disc DLC in the form of entire game modes that everyone's somehow completely comfortable ignoring and proclaiming it GOTY.

This trailer has to be worst misreading of source material in a long time. They should just put Batman into it because it fits as well with TLotR.

So that name was real, not a fan. Looking forward to it though, really liked the first despite it being very much a one trick pony, so looking forward to seeing how they improve upon it.

The original was one of my favorite games of 2014. Can't wait to see how they retool the sequel to hopefully improve upon the original. A more fleshed out and advanced Nemesis system would be awesome.

First thought: Awesomely stupid fan fiction premise.

Second thought: Wow, those are some movie-accurate locations. I thought WB didn't have the film license to LOTR, which is why they had to call the first game "Middle Earth."

So much for that Batman reveal.

This seems like a bit of a low key reveal given the success of the first game.

Though, it is still 'early' I suppose.
