Games you're pretty sure only you have played

I'm going to start with a game I see almost nothing about on the Internet and one of my favorite games growing up, The Outforce.

It was the first game Starbreeze Studios developed, back when they were called O3 Games. It's an RTS set in space, and while in hindsight the game isn't very good (there's only 3 factions, and they only differ in appearance and cosmetics), I have plenty of fond memories with it. It also has some pretty awesome music.

And yet, despite it being a success for the developer, I almost never hear anyone talk about it ever. It comes up when people are discussing Starbreeze Studios' works, but only in a passing mention sort of way. Has anyone else ever played this game?

And what are some other games you don't think anyone else has played but you?

P.S.
This is also an outlet for me to vent about how when I bought the digital version of the game on Amazon, the installation setup still asked me for a disk. I bought it digitally, I don't have a fucking disk.

For some reason I remember this game really fondly despite literally never hearing a single other person ever discuss it, anywhere. Hell, it was like 50 images down when I searched for it just now....

Anyway, cool little game where you control the protagonist indirectly via a CCTV system, with a cursor, folders, and resizable windows and all. Way ahead of its time. Not sure where you could find it now or if holds up at all, but a neat little game that I have good memories of.

Sudeki on Xbox.

And I hate that game. I wish more people played it so they could understand why I want to throw down with the developers in an alleyway.

I know I am not the only one here to play any of the Lunatic Dawn games, but I might be the only one to post about the series in forever and I don't know anybody irl who are familiar with them.

Fun games, though.

Me: "Dune 2 is one of the best games ever made."

Them: "Yeah man, Doom 2 is the best."

"No no, DUNE 2. Like the Frank Herbert books. The spice must flow, you know?"

"Ah, I don't read fantasy. I watch Game of Thrones though! Cersei's fuckin' CRAZY!"

"Yeah, Cersei is pretty rad I guess."

The game released on Steam a while ago now, I've made a couple of playthroughs myself.

Air's Adventure. A truly vile import Sega Saturn jrpg. Feels like it was made by people who had no idea how to make a video game. Weird side view turned based combat with digitized monsters and characters. Animation is cheesy and it looks like paper dolls fighting. Not worth checking out, but I think I'm the only person here to ever mention it.

Remember in OPM magazine when they would add a special demo for a Japan-only game? This game was featured in that but later received a full western release.

It's really good and the only game I know of that was made by Sony in collaboration with SEGA. I have a conspiracy theory that this was an ECCO The Dolphin game early in its life.

2, a game developed by hubol.
2 is great! I'm gonna one-up this though, and say I'm the only one here who played Craz'd, it's predecessor. I remember putting gameplay up on Youtube, and hubol was the only one who ever commented. Both are great (and silly) metroidvanias.

Nice! I'm impressed. Usually have to go to other communities for the really niche stuff. :p

dude i played the shit out of midnight rescue, although my edition had more color

I raise you this:

Let's Talk About Me, coming of age minigames about puberty for girls. I loved playing this with my friend but sadly there seem to be no screencaps whatsoever aside from the cover

edit: okay i just found it on youtube and it's the worst garbage i've ever seen, how did i like this...

Yoooo I love 3D Movie Maker, it's so weird. I want to try to make more stuff with it. There's still a small community that makes videos and patches for modern PC's.

Wow, there's a decent chunk on YouTube I just found. I still vividly remember one of the editing themes and had a lot of fun with the farts. Thanks for the tidbit!

This game deserves its 42% metacritic.

Yet it still is clever and I had fun among the frustration. With polish it could easily be a 7/10 game.

Nightcaster 2: Equinox.

Incidentally, it's also legit the worst game that I can recall ever playing.

Sudeki on Xbox.

I plan to get these for original Xbox.

Got this last year.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who has played this ER game I don't remember the name of. Since I can't find any info on it no matter how hard I look.

Odyssey: The Legend of Nemesis. Well, technically, at least two people played it - myself and my brother. It was the first game I ever played on a color computer (everything before it was either green and black or grayscale) and I adored it.

I never managed to get what I figure was supposed to be the true ending (neither my brother nor I could figure out how to get through the section of the final Vex Chamber that involved the tuning fork). I've looked it up online to see what was beyond there but never found an answer. I still want to go back and see if I can figure it out now, but I can't run the game anymore (it's a Mac exclusive and I use Windows nowadays).

If this post reminded anyone else of it and they want to give it a try, the game is available as a free download from the developer website.

Stop It

Perfectly able to grasp the inherent value of the fishing game.
Whale's Voyage for the Amiga CD32. The Amiga itself was uncommon enough and this dungeon crawler was pretty much ignored, especially on CD32.

I'm sure someone else has played it, but I've never met anyone who has ever heard of Rhino Rumble. The craziest thing to me, it's developed by the company that went on to become Guerilla Games. Of all things, the Killzone/Horizon Zero Dawn studio has this completely obscure Game Boy Color game in their history. I'm genuinely curious if anyone from Killzone or Horizon's dev teams were around for Rhino Rumble now.

Chameleon Twist 1 & 2 were my jams.

Fucking high level play with that tongue.

I rented that game once. Could not tell you a single thing about it except there were anthropomorphic chocolate bars (or ice cream sandwiches... I think?).

Lol same here. I remember renting it one Friday night and it was good fun. Might have to find them again and get a used n64 to relieve some old memories.

Goblin Commander: Unleash the Horde.

I remember having tons of fun with it. Never hear anybody ever talk about it, though.

Same with Rocket: Robot on Wheels.
