Yup, totally agree. That's a ton of Nintendo's heaviest hitters. Maybe if you are only into JRPGs I could see that being disappointing, but otherwise I feel like you aren't into Nintendo at all if those aren't attractive to you.I hate the accusation of people being jaded, but when 3D Mario, Mario Kart, Zelda, Arms and Splatoon are summarized as "feels like nothing", than I gonna give the accusation a pass.
Its a Nintendo thread about announcements. They usually start and end incredibly toxic. Remember Pokemon Direct?
What what happen? Why guys saying 25mins and quick reveals?
Someone bring me up to speed.

Feeling no hype this year. Where is the hype train from last year? I'm gonna enjoy the Mario footage though. Shit looked amazing already in the reveal trailer.
i dont know i mean i am still covered with zelda and mario kart 8 but you can not assume every retail release on a console appeals to everyone. My friend for example buyed the switch for Zelda and could not be less exited for a mario or Multiplayer game
My expectations at this point:
20 minutes of Splatoon 2, ARMS, Super Mario Odyssey, and Pokken.
2 minutes of blah blah and new joycon colors.
2 minutes of Pokemon UltraSM
1 special surprise at the end:
SWiitch Sports
Anything better than that will be pleasant surprise.

Most 2017 japanese games won't be coming to Switch. 2018 onwards will be a different story.
You have to realise this.
There was no Hype last year. Everyone was complaining about Zelda only.
Sounds like bad judgement on their part. Why would you buy a console for one game if nothing else for the rest of the year interests you?
One could have hoped some of these upcoming games might come but expectation should have been that they wouldn't regardless of engine, etc. Time is an issue. Something like FIFA could make it likely because it seems liked a customized version of FIFA 16/17 with improvements from the upcoming version but renamed to match it. FIFA is likely changed enough from what we've seen now that it can be considered a new game.
Kinda off topic. Do you need to play xenoblade to enjoy xenoblade 2? Thinking about buying a switch for this

I'm listening to Michael Pachter on Youtube live at E3 with Geoff Keighley and the stuff he is saying sounds spot on actually. That's real weird.
Only to be blown away by Zelda only
Reggie on Youtube Live!

Spotlight confirmed to be 25 min by Reggie himself

Told'ya.
Sounds like 10 min Mario Odyssey and 15 min for everything else.
Did you....uhh actually watch it?
Didn't watch the ARMS part, I'm talking about Reggie said MO will be big part of it. Did I miss something? o.0

"Neiteio never changes."
As I have said, yes, Zelda won GOTS and went on to become one of the best games ever.
But what if you are not a fan of Zelda?
This year might be a repeat of that, but with Mario instead.
I did like the April direct speedy format and glad they're going with quick and to the point. Only thing I didn't like was seeing the headlines before they got there. Kinda spoiled it a little.
"Don't be a john."
Lol wth does this reference? or is it just a saying I am unfamiliar with?
That doesn't mean there isn't content though. Just not content that you are interested in. Big difference IMO.

Thanks, I love the Geoff and Reggie meetups. They're always jabbing each other nonstop.
We already had a full reveal for the first Zelda DLC, and I honestly don't expect we'll see anything at e3 for the secondI would like:
Mario Odyssey gameplay - not much, but some. I'm already sold.
ARMS - DLC stuff shown for July
Splatoon 2 - SP trailer
Animal Crossing Switch
Metroid - doubt it but I'll always cling to it
Mario Maker port - I absolutely think this is perfect for Switch
Star Fox Zero port - yup, try again but fix the controls
Zelda DLC full reveal (both packages)
I'll be cool with some indies as well. I am not expecting much. With Zelda, ARMS, Mario Kart, Splatoon 2, and Odyssey, I am more than happy with my Switch already.
