I wouldn't be surprised to see Recore once they release that Definitive Edition.

It's too bad there is no shot at Forza coming over. It's fun to play with Steam Controller/DS4 gyro steering.

Recore seemed interesting, based on what I've seen. If it gets on Steam I may buy it eventually.

I'm definitely down to give it a try.

About the whole KI/Crossplay discussion: KI has great rollback netcode, so a low player base won't hurt it too much.

Can someone help me explain my overclock? I'm in MSI Afterburner, and my core clock is set to 966MHz while my memory clock is at 3206MHz, as I have added 100MHz to the core clock and 200MHz to the memory clock. This is apparently when I am not doing anything on my computer, yet when I start playing games these numbers do not increase. Why is that?

So MS is putting games to death to get some exposure for the WinStore, perhaps so that some of their investors feel nice?, and then, a year or so later, release them on Steam to at least make the porting costs back.
Sensible business decision, truly.

I like when that image is posted, because the trajectory of CoD sales on PC since MW2 actually confirms that people will not put up with bs indefinitely, at least on PC.

While that is true, MW2 remains the highest selling COD game on Steam by a decent margin. So the boycott was a failure in the moment. It did cause damage to the brand on Steam though because better games that came after it (and had dedicated servers) also felt the backlash of this whole drama.

I still enjoyed MW2. It was a fun game despite all it's problems and everything in multiplayer being broken and unbalanced.

Without knowing the exact numbers, I'd imagine these games are doing so poorly on the Win store that they have to release them on Steam to make at least some money back.

Been playing Alien: Isolation recently. It's a crime that the engine is just sitting in some hard drive at Creative Assembly.

SEGA should do something with that tech.

Here sum gaymes yo.

I imagine this scenario will definitely happen a bit too frequently.

*Boots up KI*

"WOW, THIS GAME LOOKS AWESOME!!"

*Goes online*

*Gets bodied*

*Has to sit through the opponent doing 3 ultra combos in a row, interspersed with teabagging*

*Uninstalls KI*

Doesn't seem to happen too often. I do the ultra enders ASAP because I want to get to the next damned match.

It's possible to delete/remove dlc by myself or do I need to ask Steam support to remove it?

You can selectively disable/uninstall DLC. Just untick the box, either in Detail View or the DLC window (right-click -> Properties -> DLC).

Not a mod, just a bot.
This is a scheduled automated repost on behalf of ramoisdead, who is running this raffle.

Happy to see KI on Steam, this partially solves my problem about getting a One, now I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of time before we'll see GOW Ultimate and 4...well, if Microsoft likes money of course.

Anyway I find really strange the fact SE stopped porting FF stuff on PC. I mean, there are tons of games to be ported excluding XII, like War of the Lions, I and II etc....

Just beat Wolfenstein: The New Order. It has been a while since I last beat a game, and it happens very rarely. This time I did it, and what an experience. I don't get the criticism of the last boss, it wasn't hard or unfair at all, although I will say, that the last three couple of chapters had a difficulty spike that made me frustrated at times. But I stuck to it and was rewarded a great oppressive experience and a beautiful emotional song that left an impression on me. One of the best FPS games I've probably ever played. Good job on Machine Games.

Now I need a break, and eventually start up The Old Blood later this month, and then I'll look forward to Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus later this year. Now it is time to get through all the cups in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and complete that game, and then get through The Journey in FIFA 17.

What a wonderful game, Wolfenstein is.

So watching the reveal trailer for Wolfenstein II is that Fergus I see with the robot arm knocking him in the face? But what if I chose Wyatt's timeline that can't be canon? And then Wyatt turns up by the end, so will there be two timelines again and different cutscenes?

Nier: Automata must have sold terribly, that's the only valid explanation.

Finished up Prey (2017) tonight, hell of a game. I wonder if Arkane will get to make another one considering how this one sold. I hope more people jump on it once the price lowers it shouldn't be missed.

The game will probably either read your save for the previous game or give you the option of choosing their fate a la The Witcher 3.

some advice for people on the fence about Binding of Isaac, which is at a historic low in price atm on Steam:

get it. this is *the* roguelike built on fun item interactions, depth of gameplay as far as the eye can see (so. many. unlockables.), and dev/community interactions (they just released the second booster pack of community content).

at least start with Rebirth - that game by itself can last a few hundred hours. There is also an active modding community, though the different versions (Rebirth vs. Afterbirth vs. Afterbirth+) can break mods (that is, a mod for the Rebirth version likely won't work for the AFterbirth_ version, though it's easy enough to check/uncheck the DLC on Steam). The biggest mod for Rebirth alone is probably Antibirth, and it's free. If you ever do feel tired of Rebirth, then it might be worth picking up the first DLC, Afterbirth, which is widely favored. If you somehow need more content after that, then consider Afterbirth+ (which you can only buy once you have both Rebirth and Afterbirth). Afterbirth+ was immensely disappointing when first released, which is why you see a lot of negative reviews. The devs listened to feedback and shored it up, and it's now a decent, meaty addition.

Good luck, everyone. Poop well, cry often. Feel free to ask any questions if you're still on the fence, but this is a game with an amazing value in terms of dollars/hour.

(here's the wiki, which will save you a lot of trouble)
