I don't know about this one, but the last stability update wasn't mandatory. So nothing to moan about.

The PS4 can be setup to update overnight. Mine does and so is entirely transparent to me as the user... and that's not even mentioning that these updates are actually much less frequent than once a month.

Can't remember which podcast it was now but I believe the reason they stated is often to do with new release games and their performance. Seemed reasonable at the time. Really wish I could remember the podcast though.

Some Chinese company will start to sell a pcb that you can solder inside the PS4 that enable game sharing between all the people who install this part and share the same account,that's mean one person buy the game and all the PS4s will get the game too,it's plain piracy.

I'm not saying there's a conspiracy here. I'm talking about the actual technical details of the update. Like, what they are modifying, how it's compressed, etc.
