Which restaurant has the best side biscuits?

Speaking of the American-style biscuit that is!

I just tried Church's and I liked that extra crunchiness... best I've probably eaten overall was from a local BBQ chain but then again I haven't really tried all that many other places for their biscuits, particularly the big ones. People seem to enjoy Popeye's but despite it being my fav place for fried chicken their biscuits are really lackluster to me. *shrug*

O'Charley's and it ain't no contest

Oh just biscuits and not just bread in general? I don't know biscuits are usually too dry and I don't bother.

Well only one biscuit comes in chapstick form. We know who the winner is.

Red Lobster. They even sell the mix at stores. I sometimes make a tray of them and they're just like the ones in the restaurant (as long you add like 2x the butter the recipe calls for, lol).

I keep a couple of boxes on hand at all times, haha. They're so easy to mix and make too

Seconding the Red Lobster love (can't wait for the first super edgy person to come in here and tell us all how they're actually terrible and we're bad people for liking it).

Also, Cracker Barrel's biscuits and cornbread are pretty good for chain restaurants.

OH yeah everyone has always been singing praise for Red Lobster's, I need to go check it out one day. xD

Lol no please don't
The place is terrible. It's basically butter with a side of seafood. The biscuits are the best thing about the restaurant and those are even available without even having to go there

Cheddar Bay biscuits are the only ones I've tried to replicate at home because I like them so much.

Imma be the contrarian douche and state that Red Lobster's cheddar biscuits used to be good, but now suck, really really badly.

But I enjoy McDonald's biscuits so what the fuck do I know?

It's kind of funny how snobbish GAF can be about food...but suddenly you can find yourself in a thread where everyone is praising Red Lobster. o_O

Bakersfield ain't got much, but they have this awesome breakfast/lunch restaurant called Knotty Pine. Best biscuit of my life.
