Damn that's disgusting. It's not what I consider a mainline FF game though. XIII-2 is pretty much exactly the point when Square completely lost the plot imo, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised this is when their crossover nonsense began...

And yes, they certainly are working on that list of issues they created, but I find it depressing that even when they're aware of that massive list of problems with XV's narrative and mechanics they prioritise working on... this.

Looks crazy for a limited time event. So much effort put into the new mechanics. I hope all the improvements in the Episode DLCs and the multiplayer eventually make it into the main game. Switching party members. More responsive controls. Climbing. Warp striking in Altissia. The main game felt so bad when I went back to get those new trophies after playing the DLCs.

It hurts that they're using Loqi after he was so underutilized in the main game. He was in like 1 scene, then apparently killed in a mech during a fight where you never even see him.

Maybe one day we'll get a director's cut at this rate.

I just quoted someone a page or so ago that was wondering if the "new climbing mechanics" would be limited to Lestallum or would retroactively be applied to the rest of the base game, so, yes.

There's a massive gulf of difference between a TV commercial and tie-ins that actually exist within the game itself. The actual game of FF9 had no Coke references. Don't make false equivalences.

I think this DLC looks cool. I think it's great they're adding content, even if it's cross promotion. Not sure why people are so upset they they aren't moving to a new FF game. They want to make this entry the best it can be.

You fight him again when raiding one of those optional bases. Still in a mech though, would like a human to human fight but I doubt he is strong enough.
