When will this sale end?

Guess that I will buy some dollars for xbox to buy catherine, daytona and cuphead

Edit: Fuck, Now I remember that I can't buy games without an credit card. I created a virtual one, and still can't buy anything

can you even say catherine is on sale by this point

if anything, some times the price gets higher for no reason but then drops back

It's a good sale, saw this a couple minutes ago and I plan to get both Crazy Taxi and Daytona. I own Crazy Taxi on Dreamcast but it would be fun to get again on BC with the free credit I have that's about to expire.

Heard the Daytona port was great, but I have to see how good the Crazy Taxi port is.

Do you still need to buy these off an actual 360 if I want to use the XBL Money on my account

Yep, luckily mine is still hooked up.

Capcom Arcade Cabinet : All-In-One Pack- $6.24

If that's the basic setup, it only comes with 3 or 4 games; all the rest are DLC that you can buy singly or as a group. (Last time, the DLC group went on sale a few weeks after the base game)

VF5:FS- $3.74
Bayonetta- $4.99
Guardian Heroes- $1.24

Hmmmm, I can't check now, but even if I might never play it, I could get VF5:FS just to have it, especially since it's backwards compatible.

Already got Bayonetta with Games with Gold and Guardian Heroes for super-cheap some time back.

I have GH already and actually Bayo and VF5FS too, but digital is nice and these are XboneS compatible right? So tempting along with Daytona.

Well just for clarity, all Xbox One versions are compatible with the 360 BC library.

How's Virtua Fighter 5? I'm not exaggerating when I say the last one I played was 2 for Saturn. But I've been hankering for some cheap fighting games to pick up that are BC with my upcoming XB1 purchase.

Technically off-topic: Man I hope they add Vanquish to BC.

Yeah, I wanted to say something to this effect, but I was afraid it would come off as dickish. I hope that's not a common misconception (there being a separate compatibility list for the S).

Thanks, OP. Grabbed 3rd Strike and Crazy Taxi. Expecting to play Crazy Taxi for all of 15 minutes, but 3 bucks for this much nostalgia is a solid deal.

This is the DLC unlock for all the games. You need to have the "basic setup" game to be able to use it. Yeah, the base game was on sale a month ago (it's 5 dollars now, but was on sale for 1.25 a month ago).

I've been waiting for years for a sale on the Sega Vintage collection. Recently I played both games during a free trial of the Xbox game pass.... now that they are on sale I don't feel the need to buy them...

Nothing! I said nothing!
Bought Crazy Taxi and Bass Fishing for £1.66 and 84p. Man I miss the Dreamcast.

Thing is I can't buy Daytona. Says I can't on XB1. Can't remember seeing the before.

Seeing different games than what's on your list... Guardian Heroes and Vanquish for example?

Any chance Vanquish could go BC in the near future? I might have this on disc but tempted to pick up a digital copy too...

Thanks for clarification. I was a bit disappointed when I first got that base game, as it's not too clear.

Sega Vintage Collection: Streets Of Rage- $2.49
Sega Vintage Collection: Golden Axe- $2.49

Does the online Multiplayer still work for these? I'd assume not, but figured I'd ask just in case.

I'd assume they still work. Give me a moment, and I'll go test them now.

EDIT: Streets of Rage works online.
EDIT2: So does Golden Axe.

oneida is slipping. I expected a new BUY THIS GAME, PEOPLE! thread from him

this game goes on sale a few times a year, & if SEGA can't be assed to put it on PC why should i bother? buy it if you want to.
btw i have made exactly 2 threads about virtua fighter: 1 for the VF5 ten year anniversary (wrote an article for SEGAbits), 1 about VF4EVO tutorials. both over a year ago.

Nice! Thank you for checking. These are a tonne of fun.

I should mention that I didn't actually find anyone else online, but that's to be expected I guess.

I'm always up for playing random Sega stuff if you need someone to play with though!

Probably some legal/licensing restriction in the contract with Daytona. When it was drawn up the X1 didn't exist yet. You can purchase it on the website. That's what I did last night. The same holds true for the Streets of Rage collection.

I'm about to buy Third Strike for my wife's account even though I have it on mine. I'm that crazy. It's not even BC
yet
, but I'm still gonna buy it. Come on Capcom, you just have to put this game on BC. Ya just have to....

I wish that goddamn Street Fighter anniversary collection leak would have been legit. I would have preferred that. Oh well.

Thanks for that info.

Sega Vintage: Golden Axe was no problem buying on console.

Sega Vintage: Streets of Rage was unavailable on console; bought via website
Final Fight: DblImpact (sic) was unavailable on console, too; bought via website

Fwiw, plain ol' Golden Axe stand-alone is still listed, but not purchasable on either.
