Now I'm thinking about getting rid of my Pikachu New 3ds XL with the colored buttons (like the Famicom/Euro SNES edition new xls) I bought a few months ago to help pay for this one. Amazon doesn't offer much trade in value for it though

Yeah I did the same. I liked the eur better but it really is just the buttons and the smaller 3ds have those so I am good. Also concerned it just a sticker.

Guess we can see what happens when the mods all go away. The dogs are cute but there are other places for them.

It wasn't edgy enough to compete with the "cooler" looking Sega Genesis. Bright, colorful, rounded designs are for kids. Teens need something sharp to cut their eyes on.

I'd have picked this up in a heartbeat if it was around when I got my XL. Probably a bit late in the game for me now though, nothing wrong with the one I have.

Shame that the faceplate buttons and whatnot aren't actual 3D detail like the pokeball one, but it's cool nonetheless.
