Horrible format. Granted, most conferences highlight 3-4 massive tentpoles... but being so obvious about it wasn't great. And really, nothing new? No Spyro? No Red Dead 2?

Death Stranding looks excellent story-wise, I'm a Last of Us hater and think that whole franchise is overhyped... Spiderman looks like an Arkham game with a Spiderman overlay. Ghost looks great artistically....

Maybe I'm tripping, but I'm starting to get disillusioned with modern games. They look like interactive movies, including the voice acting. It's like there are 3 or 4 templates for games that the majority of modern games fit into. There's less interesting gameplay concepts and more cinematic experiences. Thank God for Nintendo.

Exactly how I feel. Looking forward to good old Fire Emblem tomorrow.

I know I'll be in the minority here, but I greatly disliked this conference. That is because I fundamentally disagree with Sony's vision for gaming. Sony wants games to be movies. I don't.

A lot of what they showed felt pretentious, too.

I hope we'll see more of Dreams outside of those short intermissions.

Pretty much how I felt about it. Still, Nioh 2, RE2, and Death Stranding have potential so it wasn't a total bust for me. Spider-Man looks pretty dull but I might Redbox it for a possible Peter & MJ reunion anyway. Lord knows Marvel won't give it to me outside of Renew Your Vows.

I'm gonna put this on the same level as Microsoft's conference. Microsoft had good content, but a solid format. It works. With this, The Last of Us 2 was very strong, and there were a few surprises... but they were surprised because Sony said there was nothing new. Outside of that, this format just wasn't good. I mean, I'm still not sure this conference is actually over. Where's the outro? That's really not good. As for the games, Death Stranding is losing interest for me at this point - I really doubt Kojima can tie it all together in a satisfying way. RE2 looks perfect, Ghosts of Tsushima looks interesting as hell, and the rest didn't do much for me. Sony had higher highs, Microsoft was much more consistent. Everyone else was kinda embarrassing.

I liked it. There weren't any mind blowing announcements but they showed a ton of gameplay with minimum talking, which is what I want from my conference.

Ghost of Tsushima gameplay alone made me jizz like 3 times. Spidey looked great as well. Didn't personally care about any of the other games. What the heck was Death Stranding anyway? The dude just walked around in a whole lot of different places. Whatever they showed was disappointing.

I think a few big new announcements would have really made this an excellent conference.

In Akrham Knight Batman rams people over with his Bat-Tank (or shoots them with the Bat-Cannon), and yet they miraculously survive, so I guess some suspension of disbelief is required.
