Looks like a 4X/Roguelike/Xcom/FPS with environmental manipulation of a tower defense except you're the attacker. Interesting glimpse we got there.

I find it kinda mindblowing how MS is so incredibly capable of greenlighting games I have zero interest to play

Like, the only game MS published in the last decade or so that interested me was Quantum Break and Forza Horizons.

And it's not like their games are megasellers..why won't they develop something like RDR, Witcher, Kingdom Come, Fallout..you know, open world RPGish immersive game.

Hopefully that secret project by Playground is exactly that.
