Real talk: Most SNES jrpgs are not worth playing today.

FFVI and Chrono Trigger are remembered more fondly for their cinematic presentation and music than they are their gameplay, which is brain dead easy and presents no real challenge.

Debate me, atheists. If you want a good SNES action RPG try Front Mission: Gun Hazard. Or if you want turn-based play a real man's game like FFV which focuses on GAMEPLAY, not omg opera scene ;_; so sad

We all know that 1995 was a groundbreaking time for fighting games. It's very important to recognize that your replies on this matter will make NeoGAF a more interesting place to discuss videogames.

Please be patient while I run my script shuffle some words and dates around to create the next poll.

Is everything all right, mate? Anyway, Shadow Warrior is tight and I still play it to this day thanks to the great redux port on steam.

Just fine.

Your opinion is wrong. Shadow Warrior relied too much on dithering. The correct answer is Hexen II.

Please make sure to vote in the poll.

Also raaaagh at no 'other' option despite my relative unfamiliarity with the genre and general lack of stake in the whole thing

Wrong. Gun Hazard involves platforming, which is not RPG.

Also, it features ranged weapon, also not RPG. If you want to talk about shooters I have other polls for that.

"Please ban DunDun for spamming" was the best fucking fighting game of that Century. Loved Everything about it, such an outstanding game that completely obliterated the competition.

Can we get some more poll options to cover all the questions now that we've recovered from the comic-book style reboot?

...

Too soon? I really want to know which one of those games was a Computer Role Playing Game.

i am offended that there is not a selection for the low budget pervy adult JRPG's that I would play if console manufacturers weren't so afraid to sell them in a country as free as AMERICA.
