Hillary Duff calls black photographer shooting kids a "creep", social media freaks out

It’s not creepy, but he should ask. Crime shows really did more harm than good huh? Law & order against men, and CSI with the courts.

I'll say this. There are cameras everywhere recording you and your children all the damn time. In shopping malls, on street corners, at gas stations, everywhere. To me, that's creepy. He's probably just trying to make a buck with pictures of Hillary's kids. Yes, the entire situation could have been de-escalated by both parties though. It would have been even more creepy if he walked up and asked if he could take photos of her creamy lightly skinned children then licked his lips for good measure.

who the fuck would pay for a picture of hilary duffs kids in this day and age. she hasn't been relevant for a minute.
Why did you add his skin colour in the title?

because its relevant to the controversy you weirdo

its definitely strange how his immediate reaction is to default to the legality of it. couldve just explained himself instead of going "oh its legal its legal!"

makes the whole thing sketchier tbh

I think he didn’t want the cops called. Maybe he’s just dumb and had a past experience already :messenger_grinning_smiling:

Dad of 4. Zero fucks given, who cares, and he’s right it’s legal.

Is it uncomfortable to some...sure but what is he going to do with them? It’s kids in an open field playing sports

I'm just curious when celebrity children became off limits? Paparazzi's have been doing this shit since I was a kid. In general Paparazzis are creeps and idiots I'm just curious why she choose him over others more than anything.

It is creepy, He's right as well in saying it's not against the law so he can keep doing it if he wants but her expressing her annoyance with what he is doing is no big deal. What annoys me more than anything is when any situation that involves a black person, or any other minority, gets addressed it instantly becomes a race issue oftentimes.

If whatever your doing is completely legal, and some random woman walk up to you and tell you to stop. Don't freaking stop, that man does the right thing to double down on it, if you don't protect your own right, who would? I am tire of getting less and less freedom because of someone's feeling with no science backing it up.

Most child abuse and kidnapping are done by family member, scientifically speaking Hiliary Duff pose more danger to her own child than a random black man with a camera.

Of course, since neither law or common sense is on her side, she has to rely on her mobs to harass the guy.

"It's making me feel very uncomfortable." Fuck off.
The dude ain't doing anything illegal and he seems genuine. Doesn't look like a creep.
And the kids aren't in danger, the parents are there.
But it is a tough one. I do understand the mother and her problem with having kids photographed, I get it.
But then again the dude is not doing anything illegal and seems harmless.
I dunno. It's a tough one to judge. Both sides have a good argument.

Yeah. I'm an amateur/hobbyist photographer and want to side with the dude in general. He likely wasn't there for any nefarious reason and just wanted to test out his gear and get in some practice shooting sports. Then again, if I were him, I would have found a game of grown adults to do that. Would just feel weird photographing a game of small children if you didn't know anyone there.

The gap in responses in this topic is interesting. Some people threatening outright violence, others just don't gaf.
I'm personally angry that we live in a society that feels we need to have an unspoken rule that you can't just take photos of whatever you want.

Hysterical white woman has her feelings hurt. Black man threatened and insulted for being a photographer.

Even if you hate SJWs, surely you all have heard about the trend of white women getting hysterical and calling the cops on black people with UNBELIEVABLY HIGH FREQUENCY over stupid shit?

Minorities are infallible, haven't you heard? Therefore any slight against them is the result of racism.

People should be mindful of others. Lots parents out there that don't allow social media postings with their kids. Schools here request pics not have other children's faces in them.

I am getting so tired of people thinking that anything anyone does involving children has some malicious meaning behind it. The internet and TV has made people think that pedophilia is some massive widespread thing, and that all men are closet pedophiles or some shit. This shit needs to stop, it was a photographer practicing his craft on a what he probably thought was a pleasant image.
. You kind of have to have some common sense before you do something like this. First let me ask why take pictures of little kids at a sport game? Why? Because, it’s the only place he can see kids like that In public freely . Second, no you can’t just go around taking pictures of people without their knowledge or approval. It may not be technically against the law brut It dose make you look like a creep and it is a creep move. Maybe this guy was just practicing photography but I have never asked myself if it would be a good Idea to take pictures of little kids randomly at the park.

Nope. You're a victim of the media, and Twitter. That also has nothing to do with this.

How high is a black man vs white woman on the oppression ladder.

Anyway, dude should stop making pictures of people's kids or ask permission to do so.

What a fucking dumb bitch. The way she came up and asking him was pretty rude. He even offered to give her his ID but she refused. It’s a public park, get the fuck out if you don’t want people taking pics of your kid. 15m followers, what an entitled cunt.

And no I wouldn’t have a problem with anyone taking a pic of my son.

Edit: just checked her instagram, lo and behold she has pics of her kids on there. So much for protecting her kids.

Is grown adults taking pictures of peoples children in a park a normal thing in America?

No, but what’s the harm? She has pics of her kids and toddler in swimwear on her instagram. Go watch youtube, there content creators that record in public places like malls and such. There are kids in there, you don’t see people complaining. Everyone must be a creep then.

Bro it’s an open field playing sports...??? Am i missing a reason why he should ask permission? In all honestly what is he going to do with those photos that would upset you as a parent (if you are one)?

I guess I’m just too busy to care about that garbage. If he’s talking shit, harassing or following my kids we have a problem.

He didn't look like a creep to me and what he said sounded normal. Didn't sound a creep to me at all

BUT, he should've stopped when they asked him too because I am sure they complained on the bench

My fantasy is that my girlfriend was actually a young high school girl.
Why isn't it illegal to take photos of kids? Serious Q. Not saying it should be, just wondering if there is a good reason for it.

I mean i get why one might get upset if someone takes pictures of children, especially your own. However the dude didn't seem to have any malicious intentions but still should have asked for permission. What gets on to me though is the fact that she just HAD to mention her 15M followers. Can people just stop this social media exposing bullshit already?

Darkness no more
If he wanted to practice he should have talked to the parents before he started shooting, explained himself and offered to send photos after. The situation may have gone differently then. If they declined he should have respected their wishes and left.
