To support Play At Home, PlayStation will try to make those occasionally dull moments more exciting by offering Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey available for free* for a limited time through digital downloads from Thursday 16th April midnight BST / 1am CEST through Wednesday, 6th May midnight BST / 1am CEST. Once you redeem the games, they are yours to keep.

yo, because of an error Knack 2 was free on (I think) the New Zealand PSN store for a day or so back when it came out, and a lot of people got it for free through that (including me xD)
It's honestly not even worth making a New Zealand account for (which takes like 2 min) in hindsight.

Journey is a beautiful experience everyone should play at least once. It's the perfect game during these times, I "envy" those who have the chance to play it for the first time, especially online.

I don't think that's the reason, millions of people are long term PS+ subs and they already have both Uncharted trilogy and Journey. Must be some issue with Uncharted in Germany and China (censorship related?) to exchange it for something else.

Unless you added the games to your account when they were on PS+, then you got shafted in getting it free forever...

I really hope they improve on that licence front for next gen as that is the licensing they have for ps4 games. Even physical to digital is disaster . Anyways these are another topic but I m hopeful they will fix those for next gen

67% of ps4 gamers don't have playstation plus. 38 million out of 110 million have ps plus . Thats why

There's nothing to "get". Some people just really enjoyed playing it. If you didn't that's also fine too, you're not obligated to like things that receive praise.

If you treat it like a general videogame than I believe it might be boring for you, it is rather an experience. Not everyone is receptive of such things, though.

I noticed Yesterday steam is giving tomb raider for free along with the temple of Osiris that tomb raider arcade game. These free gestures are nice but is it’s not much of a gesture. These games are like 7 years old now.
