Depends on how well it will run on my 2080 at 1440p and RTX/DLSS or wait for PS5 but the latter is a gamble no idea how well it will run there.
My thoughts exactly. This game has such sky high expectations that it almost seems impossible to live up to. But also it has high expectations for a reason.Yup. I am going to play it on PC and hope my RTX 2080 can easily run this with RTX and DLSS 2.0 at 1440p.
My hype level is anywhere between slightly worried and might be a 10/10 game that makes me go "why did I ever doubt it?".
I seem to recall a little game called Skyrim did pretty well...Nope, i dont see point if first person open world i predict this game will fail
This is what DLSS is for.Definitely PC.
Main reason I'll try to get a 3090 ASAP too, because I can't see a 2080 Ti being good enough for this game at 4K with ray-tracing.
VR.
Life-sized scale in videogames is a gamechanger, especially realistic games.
80 story buildings that look 80 stories, 6ft tall characters that actually appear 6ft tall is absolutely the next generation combined with modern graphics.
Not to mention, VR depth perception inside that huge scale is another gamechanger within itself. Now we just need an announcement. Even with a controller and VR headset, that'll be my preferred choice. I'd honestly rather play in VR at 720p than 8k 120fps on a 100 inch TV, but I'll have the option for much higher than 720p.
Now we just need confirmation!
Excuse me?... EXCUSE ME OP? Where the fuck is stadia on that list? We will not be oppressed!
DLSS can only do so much, and Cyberpunk implements a lot of very expensive effects:This is what DLSS is for.
Certainly but I also expect they will cost over $1000 so I am probably going to tough it out with current gen RTX.DLSS can only do so much, and Cyberpunk implements a lot of very expensive effects:
ray-traced diffuse illumination
ray-traced reflections
ray-traced ambient occlusion
ray-traced shadows
If rumors about the 3000 series are correct, those cards will be much better suited to heavy ray-tracing.
Definitely PC.

Be specific, please. The profanity, sexually explicit sequences, and gore?I have zero hype for it. Don't like the tone and dialogue they are pushing in every trailer.
i know there are like...opinions and everything.
but sometimes there are titles that just look better than nearly everything else lol.
cyberpunk is one of those titles.
the humans who aren't interested probably can't really say that the game they are interested in looks better than cyberpunk all around in true confidence.
If I were to show my non gaming dad how far games are coming along, I'd show him cyberpunk.
not many games seem like they are out to set a bar, and gamers need to acknowledge or recognize when a game is doing such. It's bad for the industry to not recognize those titles.....IMO
What was removed? This is actual question, I only heard about wall running.
PS5. I don't want any loading screens.
Might want to sit down.
The biggest stuff for me might be the removal of being able to buy multiple apartments around the game and removal of the entire subway station ie no more rides around the city in real time. I worried about something like this because I don't really trust the team all that much since the whole Witcher 3 downgrade thing. It wasn't really so much that it was downgraded, simply HOW the team lied regarding this situation never sat right with me. It tells me they are willing to do stuff like this to sell the game, what else are they will do? So for all we know, we find out about more missing features, downgrades the day after the game comes out. I'm even questioning if any of that shit was EVER even going to be in the game in the first place and if it was just some bait and switch as the more people that are saying they didn't know about those removed features, the more it sounds like that might have been the point.....
So a part of me is not really surprised.

Well, forget about this feature of...kill-the-game.com
Just because it's on PS5 doesn't mean it will make use of their SSD Tech, the games need to be built for it.
I hope it does of course, because hopefully that transitions to making use of nvme on PC for once, but again I doubt it.
