I think I have to clarify my statement. I'll keep it as short as I can, don't want to derail this thread into a political discussion.
The ideas of equality and unite against an evil government are of course not bad in general. Where did I say we shouldn't care for each other?
My statement was targeted towards how the far radical left and Antifa are interpreting and using these themes for their ideological goals. So don't remove "Antifa" from my statement in your quote, it is the most important part.
I think equality in the sense of equal rights and respect for each other are very important.
But I believe that everyone is different and no one is "equal". Equality and fairness are ideological concepts. Everyone has different attributes, opinions, beliefs, different histories etc. I could never be faster than Usain Bolt, ever. No matter what I do. We are not equal. And that's a good thing. I have to focus on what I can do well. To make everyone equal would mean devaluation of the individual. It also means the devaluation of individual responsibility and choice.
Enough digression though:
I just hope the game doesn't take itself to seriously and doesn't push a political agenda too hard. I want it to be fun, not loaded with ideology.
My comment was too negative, let's stay positive
