While I've seen recently, once again, criticisms against Sweden it's important to remember that in the next few days they will be outside of the top 20 in deaths per million.
I live here and politicians are starting to get nervous here.

They left things well enough alone during the spring and the only ones talking about the situation was the health agency and their experts (like Anders Tegnell).

Now they (the politicians here, like our prime minister) are stopping alcohol-serving after 10pm and sounding all judgemental against the youth and their partying, all this without even getting the any advice from the health agencies that this will have any effect.

The minister of education also threatened today to close schools after Christmas break if numbers keep rising in that demographic. These people where awfully quiet during the spring and left the talking to the health agency, but now they are suddenly starting to make their own decisions (they have not done much yet, but they talk about it).

Like the minister of education would have any knowledge at all how bad the spread was in schools during the spring. There was no testing at all back then.

Well this will most likely be the first flu season where no one dies. Its a miracle.

Last year up until March it was going to be one of the deadliest flu season in years. Even Childre, CHILDREN were going to die en mass. But then in March poof this horrible flu season the media was scaremongering about just disapeared and no one died from the flu.

WORST FLU SEASON IN DECADES XINN.

Then poof worse flu season in decades actually became the BEST flu season in decades, and now for a second year in a row there will be no more flu.

Sounds to me like someone may have finally convinced the politicians in Sweden to get with the globalist program. Shaming the young and making them feel guilty for the deaths of the old was part of the leaked German panic paper (link to the .pdf). Google translate of the relevant portion:

In order to achieve the desired shock effect, the specific effects of an infection on human society must be clarified:

Point 2:

"Children are unlikely to suffer from the epidemic": Wrong. Children are easily infected, even with exit restrictions, e.g. with the neighborhood children. If you then infect parents and one of them dies in agony at home feeling guilty to be there because they e.g. forgot to wash your hands after playing is it is the most terrible thing a child can ever experience.

In the last few days I've actually eased up a bit with the COVID hate. I still more or less feel the same way but I'm feeling a bit more forgiving towards people who want to "take precautions" and mask up. However I have no mercy towards blatant fear mongering, nonsensical and inconsistent rules, the narrative how deadly it is, and general amount of attention this shit gets.

I did see this pic though and no lies detected.

Perfectly encapsulates the emotional retardation and disingenuousness of those pushing masks/lockdowns/social distancing. You absolute dumbfucks.

The 2019-2020 flu season was not one of the "best flu season" in decades. It was middle of the pack.
What exactly are you implying?

I purchased a bidet add-on from Amazon a number of years ago for roughly $20. I’d rather take the cold water from bidet and dab dry than wiping with whatever low quality toilet paper is left at the store.

Ive said it before, I’ll say it again. Get a handheld bidet. I got one after bogrollaggeddon 1 as when I lived in Thailand everyone had them. They’re great and leave your bum hole clean as a whistle. Just dry off with one sheet afterwards.
I just saw a nice one at Costco for ($199). It looks like it attaches to the toilet. I may purchase one to not deal with tp anymore.

Mine cost £35 from Amazon. Connects to the pipe that goes into the cistern - you need a splitter to send water both ways. My builder was building me a new bathroom at the time so I added that to it.

This is a funny line of thought I've seen a few times. Apparently people can't be bothered to wear a mask on their face, but we expect them to reverse a lifetime of poor habits within a few months? People have been dying from obesity related conditions since the beginning of time, and we know that being overweight is bad for you health. People aren't fat because they're ignorant of the health implications.

“Because even though for the general population it might be 90 to 95 percent effective, you don’t necessarily know for you how effective it is.”

The Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases added that once he receives a vaccine, he still won’t feel comfortable completely letting down his guard.

“I can feel more relaxed in essentially not having the stringency that we have right now, but I think abandoning it completely would not be a good idea,” Fauci said.

Again, nothing controversial is being said here if you can make it past the non sense headline. We can keep trying though

It shows he is willfully trying to ignore basic human behavior and what he has put us through the past year.

Fauci made his bones during the AIDS crisis. We knew exactly how AIDS was spread, and he also surely came to understand that people did not change their behaviors to avoid spreading HIV as much as they could have and should have. And that was just fucking and doing drugs, for a disease farrrrrr more dangerous than the rona. Not literally shutting off all of human society, forcing everyone to wear a mask at all times and avoid all human contact.

The fact is, once the vaccines roll out, the masks are going in the garbage. He can say whatever he wants, but he knows that is what is going to happen.

Mask compliance is actually insanely high, no matter what the media tells you or what videos they put on their sites. The issue is mask usage doesn't do what they say it does. The data on obesity and covid is crystal clear though, and has been from the beginning.

No. They just don’t give a single shit about it. But now we’re supposed to suspend normal life indefinitely to protect them. So we can’t ask them to do a relatively straight forward thing to protect their own health but we all need to put our lives in hold to protect them? That’s a bitter pill to swallow. I get that since we don’t want people to die, we’re being asked to do this, but I really can’t stand the fucking excuses.

Covid-19 Alert: The 10 Riskiest States To Visit Right Now, Ranked

960x0.jpg

Traveling in the U.S. is becoming riskier by the day, as the country continues to break records for new Covid-19 cases.

Yet not every hot spot is generating the same level of heat. Even as the coronavirus spreads like wildfire, it can be useful to identify which parts of the country present the highest risk so you can stay away until the virus is brought under control.

It’s helpful, too, to keep an eye on how states are handling the crisis — or not handling it. While some governors take steps to rein in the spread of the disease by laying down restrictions in the form of face-mask mandates, curfews, quarantine protocols and even shutdowns, other states — often those with the highest caseloads — are doing comparatively little.

Countless public health experts, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, the country’s top infectious disease expert, have said that widespread face mask-wearing is the most effective way for Americans to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

So why do some states mandate face masks and others do not? A study published in early September from the University of Washington found that governors’ partisanship was the key determining factor. “The most important predictor is whether a state is led by a Republican governor,” wrote the researchers. “These states were much slower to adopt mandates, if they did so at all.” https://www.forbes.com/sites/johann...ese-changes-hint-canadas-border-might-reopen/

Two months after that report was published, the pattern continues. Here’s a state-by-state rundown of the riskiest states to visit right now, along with an overview of current Covid-19 protocols.

1) South Dakota

Risk factors: No statewide mask mandate - 154.5 new daily cases per 100,000 people - 58.8% of Covid tests are positive

Few governors have been more defiantly anti-mask than South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, a Republican, whose state is the epicenter of Covid-19 spread. The Mount Rushmore state is recording a staggering 154.5 new Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, on a rolling weekly average, according to the Harvard-Brown risk-assessment tool. Any state with over 25 new daily cases per 100,000 people is colored red on the map, which means it is considered “at a tipping point.” South Dakota’s risk level is more than 500% above that threshold, a breathtaking failure to manage the crisis.

Importantly, South Dakota’s percent positive rate is 58.8%, also the highest in the country, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. That means nearly six in 10 Covid tests come back positive. The percent positive should ideally be under 5%, according the World Health Organization. Worse yet, positivity has risen in South Dakota for the past two consecutive weeks, which suggests that the state is not close to getting the virus under control.

2) North Dakota

Risk factors: Brand new statewide mask mandate - 141.4 new daily cases per 100,000 people - 15.7% of Covid tests are positive

Just yesterday, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, a Republican, acquiesced to pressure from public health experts and announced a month-long statewide mask mandate. Masks must be worn in indoor businesses and public spaces and outside in public spaces when social distancing is impossible.

Burgum hasn’t led on this issue; local officials across the state had previously issued their own mask mandates in Fargo, Bismarck, Grand Forks, Minot and the state’s two largest Native American reservations.

North Dakota is racking up an average of 141.4 new daily Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, which is more than 465% higher than the “tipping point” threshold.

North Dakota’s percent positive rate is 15.7%, more than three times higher than what is deemed safe. Positivity has been rising for the past two consecutive weeks.

3) Iowa

Risk factors: No statewide mask mandate - 135.8 new daily cases per 100,000 people - 52.6% of Covid tests are positive

Throughout the pandemic, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, a Republican, has staunchly opposed a full statewide mask mandate and has also forbidden cities and counties from imposing their own local mask rules.

Last week Reynolds announced a watered-down new face mask requirement that only applies to certain indoor social, community, recreational or leisure gatherings with more than 25 people. The mandate applies to select activities, such as parties, Thanksgiving get-togethers and wedding receptions. But it does not apply to others, such as wedding ceremonies and religious services.

Most notably, Reynolds’ proclamation also does not apply to everyday businesses like restaurants (which research indicates is the riskiest activity during a pandemic), retail stores and movie theaters. “You can still eat in a restaurant. You can still go to a movie and work out at the gym — and in many states you can’t do that,” Reynolds told reporters at a news conference. “Iowa is open for business, and we intend to keep it that way.” Bars remain open across the state.

In the past week, Iowa recorded an average of 135.8 new daily Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, which is 443% higher than the “tipping point” threshold.

Iowa’s percent positive rate is 52.6%, the third highest in the country, and more than 10 times higher than what is deemed safe. Positivity has been rising for the past two consecutive weeks.

4) Wyoming

Risk factors: No statewide mask mandate - 125.8 new daily cases per 100,000 people - 43.4% of Covid tests are positive

During an emotional press conference last Friday, Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon, a Republican, said he is considering a statewide face mask requirement. At several points during his news briefing, Gordon raised his voice and told residents he was angry and concerned.

Since the start of the pandemic, Gordon has soft-pedaled the crisis by issuing recommendations rather than requirements. For example, patrons at salons and other personal-care businesses are required to wear masks “as much as possible.” Workers at gyms, entertainment venues, and restaurants and bars must wear masks only if they come within six feet of customers or other staff. Face coverings are “recommended” for the general public. Instead of a statewide mandate, Gordon has kicked the can to local authorities.

Wyoming is currently racking up an average of 125.8 new daily Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, which is 403% higher than the “tipping point” threshold.

Wyoming’s percent positive rate is 43.4%, nearly nine times higher than the 5% target. Positivity has been rising for the past two consecutive weeks.

5) Wisconsin

Risk factors: Stay-at-home order - full statewide mask mandate - 112.9 new daily cases per 100,000 people - 17.7% of Covid tests are positive

Last week, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, a Democrat, delivered a rare primetime speech in which he announced a new statewide stay-at-home mandate. His executive order urges people to only leave home when necessary, such as for trips to work, or to go to the grocery store, or to refill prescriptions. Wisconsin has had a statewide face covering mandate since Evers’ emergency order took effect on August 1.

Wisconsin is currently recording an average of 112.9 new daily Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, which is more than 350% above the “tipping point” threshold.

Iowa’s percent positive rate is 17.7%, more than three times higher than what is deemed safe. Positivity has been rising for the past two consecutive weeks.

6) Nebraska

Risk factors: No statewide mask mandate - 107.0 new daily cases per 100,000 people - 14.2% of Covid tests are positive

Yesterday, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts, a Republican, said in a press conference that he will not consider a statewide mask mandate, despite the growing Covid-19 crisis in his state. Instead, Ricketts introduced a new Directed Health Measure (DHM) that will postpone non-urgent surgeries. Ricketts has said that individual cities can impose their own mask mandates, following in the footsteps of Omaha and Lincoln, depending on their charter laws.

In the past week, Nebraska recorded an average of 107 new daily Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, which is 328% above the “tipping point” threshold.

Nebraska’s percent positive rate is 14.2%, nearly three times higher than what is deemed safe. Positivity has been rising for the past two consecutive weeks.

7) Illinois

Risk factors: Statewide mask mandate - 100.4 new daily cases per 100,000 people - 13.2% of Covid tests are positive

Last week, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, a Democrat, warned that his state could be on the verge of having to shut down again. Pritzker extended a host of coronavirus-related executive orders, including face mask requirement, for another 30 days.

Illinois is currently recording an average of 100.4 new daily Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, which is four times higher than the “tipping point” threshold.

The percent positive rate is 13.2%, more than twice as high as the target. Positivity has been rising for the past two consecutive weeks.

8) Minnesota

Risk factors: Statewide mask mandate - 94.0 new daily cases per 100,000 people - 14.2% of Covid tests are positive

Minnesota has had a statewide mask mandate in place since late July. Last week, Governor Tim Walz, a Democrat, announced a new set of limitations. “I have to be absolutely candid in Minnesota. We are in the midst of a significant surge in coronavirus cases,” Walz told reporters.

Now no more than 10 people from a maximum of three households can gather at indoor and outdoor private social gatherings in Minnesota. Bars and restaurants are limited to 50% capacity both indoors and outdoors with a maximum of 150 people. Dine-in service will end at 10 p.m., though delivery can continue after that time.

In the past week, Minnesota recorded an average of 94 new daily Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, more than 276% above the “tipping point” threshold.

Minnesota’s percent positive rate is 14.2%, nearly three times higher than what is deemed safe. Positivity has been rising for the past two consecutive weeks.

9) Utah

Risk factors: Statewide mask mandate - 87.7 new daily cases per 100,000 people - 17.8% of Covid tests are positive

Utah Governor Gary Herbert, a Republican, issued an executive order that took effect last week, which includes a statewide mask requirement. It replaced a system of county-level mask mandates based on local Covid-19 transmission rates. People must wear a face covering in public and whenever they are within six feet of someone from a separate household.

Utah is currently recording an average of 87.7 new daily Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, which is 250% above the “tipping point” threshold.

Utah’s percent positive rate is 17.8%, more than twice as high as the target. Positivity has been rising for the past two consecutive weeks.

10) Kansas

Risk factors: Largely unenforced statewide mask mandate - 83.3 new daily cases per 100,000 people - 58.7% of Covid tests are positive

Yesterday, the Sunflower State set another record yesterday for new coronavirus cases. In response, some churches suspended indoor services and even the Topeka Zoo tightened its rules.

Kansas Governor Laura Kelly, a Democrat, issued an executive order July 2 requiring Kansans over the age of 5 to wear face coverings in public. But, subsequently, the Republican-controlled state legislature stripped her of some emergency powers and allowed counties to opt out of the mandate. As of now, almost 80% of the state’s counties have opted out.

In the past week, Kansas recorded an average of 83.3 new daily Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, a whopping 233% above the “tipping point” threshold.

While Kansas currently sits at number 10 on the Covid leaderboard, that position could rise in the coming weeks. The state’s percent positive rate is 58.7%, just a hair behind South Dakota, and nearly six times higher than the level deemed safe. Positivity has been rising for the past two consecutive weeks.

  1. South Dakota
  2. North Dakota
  3. Iowa
  4. Wyoming
  5. Wisconsin
  6. Nebraska
  7. Illinois
  8. Minnesota
  9. Utah
  10. Kansas

It's rare that they do it that brazenly, the conflict of interest right in the headline is like taking E. Honda's hundred hand slap to the face.

Of course they don't want life to return to normal before they vaccinate everyone, that's money speaking.

While nowhere near the same scale (not that you'd know it by the way we've responded), this would undoubtedly follow in the Spanish Flu's footsteps and fade into the background by next winter without any vaccine. The vaccines currently being tested aren't even protecting against transmission, he tips you off about that right in the story.

In an interview on BBC One's Andrew Marr Show, Prof Sahin said he expected further analysis to show the vaccine would reduce transmission between people as well as stop symptoms developing in someone who has had the vaccine.

The Forbes story that covered this:

Reducing testing numbers and/or the Ct values will be how they sell the public on the idea the vaccines are the reason for lower numbers, but it'll be a lie just like so much else we're told to believe.

It makes everyone seem so self absorbed and out of touch.

Yes, the only sacrifice anyone was asked to make was to stay home and watch TV.

I would bet that in Germany there are many thousands of young people who get jobs as early as possible in life to try and haul themselves and their families out of bad situations. In any other year we would see that as a kind of tragedy in itself.

This year we shut down retail and destroy small businesses and some of those young people now don't even have that chance of income but LOL shut up we are asking you to stay home and watch TV, don't you like TV? Come on!

There's no desire to look outside the comfortable stereotype of modern life. Everyone has an internet connection and a subscription service and life is just so easy, you know. Work from home or put your feet up and let daddy government pay for it all.

I wonder just how much of a squeeze all of this is putting on the less fortunate in our societies. The people who aren't living the happy consumer lifestyle.

I know for sure it would be different if this had kicked off when I was say 5 years old. You'd have both my folks sitting home with no work and 2 kids to look after in a small rented apartment where we still all had to sleep in the same bedroom. Still about 5 years away from being able to have our own home with enough space and bedrooms etc. So we ain't going to be sitting there having a great old time as our futures evaporate.

How many families out there would have been relying on dad's job as an interior decorator or mum's job at the bookshop to ultimately be the foundation of a better life in 10 or 20 years or whatever? Now that's gone or going, what comes after?

Fucksakes. Its as if all of the people who are comfortable enough to have work from home jobs and access to Twitter and Netflix are like "well I'm feeling great so what's the problem". Getting their Amazon deliveries and not really looking outside their little bubble.

Demanding that the government locks everything down because LOL you can just stay home and watch Netflix and order a bucket of chicken LOL.

Hey I am happy about a vaccine but no one is starting to find this a bit odd?

So for the first time ever multiple vaccines are produced at record speed, essentially less than a year. And they are now rocking 90-95% efficacy when Flu vaccines are usually 40-60% effective?

Well the mission was accomplished so now they can end the plandemic.

The difference here is you have a virus that has effectively bought the cogs of the world to a stand still, the governments of this planet want these cogs to move again which is why the entire world and their wives are trying to develop a vaccine which is the reason the rate of production is so high, higher than you or I have ever seen. With such a high rate of production and a whole world focus on this one enemy, Covid, the chances of having a successful vaccine will be much higher than we have ever seen because nothing on this scale at the same time in the whole world has ever been done.

Imagine if the world cared this much about aids or cancer!

I am sure there is a reasonable explanation and that's probably it, on how science has managed to do the most amazing scientific breakthrough.

Actually I made an old thread that if there was a vaccine within a year would this prove that if you throw enough money/resources at a problem we humans could solve anything.

But it really makes me think about other diseases that we could solve if the world showed the same resolve.

No people, COVID is the most important event that has ever happened on this planet.

Earth's history should be divided into two times: before COVID, and after COVID.

More important than the ice age or dinosaur extinction.

One day people will speak of COVID as the great calamity.

It is the same kind of restrictions that already existed for public gatherings, but this time with a maximum of 8 people. Still allowed, but heavily recommended to adhere to.

It is sort of weird though and does not effect any kind of work places and such, only specific things are recognized as a public gathering (like a theme park is a place for public gathering but a zoo with animals is not).

The message constituted pretty much that in the spring most everyone was adhering to recommendations but since covid fatigue has entered the picture now in the fall people fall less in line. By lowering this limit they want to send a message that for the next few weeks you are not supposed to gather in groups for parties/dinners etc. You should only meet with the people you are living with pretty much.

But well... I meet hundreds of students every day. And for them, life in schools is the same as before covid. Life outside of school I have no idea about, they might be gathering as usual. The difference to other years is that you do not meet many people with obvious symptoms of cold, they stay home until it is gone.

Covid is not the enemy in that scenario, we are. They convinced us that absolutely everyone is a risk including the perfectly healthy/asymptomatic and even those tens of millions that recovered from infections.

That was the insidious brilliance of using war metaphors for this coronavirus, we became obedient soldiers. We turned our guns on ourselves whenever we questioned the merits of the orders handed down to us, burned our businesses to the ground and sacrificed our brothers/sisters (cancer screenings, diabetes, suicides, etc) for the imaginary "greater good."

In accepting this virus as an existential threat and the vaccines as the only way we'll return to normal we're creating a world where bioterrorism becomes a profitable business model. Snap out of it, the people that want to vaccinate the entire world are the same people telling you there is no return to normal. A return to normal requires breaking out of this daze.

We were warned for years about the dangers associated with gain-of-function research. Those stories were buried and are now "fact checked" by the same propagandists selling you positive PCR test results as infectious cases. What's to stop this propaganda-driven madness from happening again a couple of years from now?

I have no intention of rewarding the guilty parties.

The Chinese videos were a fabrication, the Chinese data and the projections based on it were wildly inaccurate, the rush to slap everyone on ventilators was murder (for which they're legally protected, how convenient), the PCR tests are a pitiful "gold standard," the conflicts of interest are painfully clear... But sure, let's keep trusting this narrative.

Article: What is The Great Reset?

"There are three main components to the Great Reset. The first looks to steer the market towards fairer outcomes by upgrading trade agreements, creating the conditions for a stakeholder economy, and government implemented reforms promoting more equitable outcomes. The World Economic Forum believes, “these may include changes to wealth taxes, the withdrawal of fossil-fuel subsidies, and new rules governing intellectual property, trade, and competition (4)”. The second is making sure that investments improved shared goals, not individual ones, spending money on things such as equality and sustainability. It’s thought that instead of “filling the cracks” of the old system, that it should be stripped away for things such as building “green” urban infrastructure. While the third is “to harness the innovations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to support the public good, especially by addressing health and social challenges (5)”. The vision of what all this would look like has also been put out by the World Economic Forum, titled “Welcome to 2030. I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better”. It’s able to be found." (11/15/20)

I can't be the only one who thinks the way they seem to be calculating "vaccine effectiveness" is patently absurd?

Pfizer: 94 out of 43,.000 people in the study contracted COVID and 85 of those were in the placebo group, therefore vaccine is 90% effective?
Moderna: 95 out of 30,000 people in the study contracted COVID and 90 of those were in the placebo group, therefore vaccine is 95% effective?

What?

This can't be how effectiveness is determined. They have no idea how many people in each group were "exposed". And of those who were "exposed" they have no idea how many of the vaccine recipients did NOT contract COVID who otherwise would have if they hadn't had the vaccine. How do you use an effective sample size of 85 or 90 people to make such a determination (and in turn justify injecting billions of people with this shit).

And I also can't be the only one getting the heeby jeebies from the idea of artifically repurposing our cellular machinery to manufacture virus proteins for our immune system to attack. Especially when these are lightning speed rushed propositions, and nothing of their kind has ever been approved for use in humans to date.

Nothing is wrong ! Fake news !

Told you guys 🤣 This is what happens if you do nothing , it festers and boom sky high . You lost track of the virus , to many asymptomatic cases ..

that’s why Asia comes into action with only 10 cases.

Which country will you guys champion now? Instead of accepting the nature of this virus and sadly the actions that are needed..

Yet again lock downs will save the day!
