Just really quick. Both versions have like pretty much exactly the same textures.
i posted some in-game screenshots just a moment ago...the xbox version just run better. period. arguing about 0.01% having so much difference in resolution is pure idiocy

It dropped 2 or 3 more frames, but runs better? I know it's silly saying a win for 2 frames, but no it didn't run better. You could argue it looks better, though.
It have much higher resolution so yes it basically run better or to fix it better as you say .... run the same but look better

I think you're confusing performance with resolution. It runs ~2 frames better on PS5 in this test, it performs better. You can lower settings/resolution in games to gain performance (fps).
There's a reason games have "performance" and "graphics" modes, can you guess which one should run better?

the difference between the two platforms is so insignificant that it would have been a waste to lower the resolution while losing the distinct advantages of IQ it brings. here we are talking about a completely irrilevant fps diff of 0.01%

Common dude, I’ll acknowledge performance is too close to worry about in this instance, but your twist of logic and language makes you come off very poorly indeed. Especially when the PS5 objectively delivers better iq due to increased texture filtering. Get a grip on reality and regain some self respect. Just some sensible advice, the rest is up to you, or not.
i don't do nothing the game cost 69.99 mbl and 69.99 outriders i toke the screenshot in italy even more 69.99 euro (81 dollars like Outriders)

And it does not seem to me that the ps5 has the best IQ in fact I would say that due to the resolution it is the opposite

His point is that you can't separate the two to that extent. They have the same fps, but Xbox is pushing more pixels. Resolution impacts performance, therefore Xbox performs better.
I don't know it matters here, but that's his logic.

The "IQ" (res) is ruined by low AF in a lot of instances where the ground is visible and not covered by grass. If/when it's "fixed", it will be interesting to see if it takes a hit anywhere, though I think they have fixed their DRS so if it does it would probably be a res hit.
is not my logic ..is how the things are if the console would run at the same res the xsx would run much better than the ps5 this should be clear right?

Yes this is a perfect test. Those guys have all the versions, they don't know the theoretical resolutions and just compare the sharpness by visual comparison. Without surprise they don't know why but they clearly see the ground with more details on PS5 and they say the PS5 version looks better because of this. They also say the One X looks better (sharper) than the Pro so for them and judging by apparent sharpness of image:
Pro < One X < XSX < PS5

It runs the same. That % difference is margin of error.
The textures are the same. The detail is the same. At oblique angles the textures look worse but they are the same.
You're right about it performing better and what you're saying makes sense. But I don't think we can make presumptions from the data we have.
Series X wins this one. It may be down to it's better hardware or it might be any number of other things. Some of those things might be overcome with more time and better use of the console.
It's just not worth guessing.

And yeah, that 0.01% is totally irrelevant, but you are the one implying it "runs" better, which it simply doesn't. It literally doesn't. You say it runs better, which it doesn't and when somebody points it out, it's irrelevant all of a sudden. As long as it fits your narrative I guess? You're so hung up in the resolution wars, you fail to see beyond that. There's so much more than just that. Demon's Souls is the best looking next gen game and runs at 1440p. The Last of Us 2 looks better that 99% of next gen titles and is also 1440p. A higher res doesn't automatically means it looks and runs better. Outriders is a good example of that.

Ok since many do not seem to accept the generalizing "run better" let's say that it runs in a practically identical way but the Xbox pushes many more pixels which easily leads to the deduction that if the two consoles pushed the same number of pixels, one would be significantly higher than the other. It’s 60 dollars and it’s a game that will require constant playing like destiny plus dlc purchases. Tire tracks in the back are also less detailed. Shadows are also sharper on PS5.
