"-The EP will have P&L responsibility for a major Xbox AAAA console title."

They avoid saying X360 or next Xbox. I am guessing the extra A is code for next gen title.

If it was for X360, it would have said X360. This is obviously for next gen and it´s a tripple A title.

They straight out wrote next generation of Xbox in the other (now removed) posting.

Since they don't have a developer or even a concept, game is probably at least 3 years out so it's a safe bet it is for next gen.

Man, this industry sometimes. Hard to tell if they're joking or not some days. 'Triple A' was already the stupidest thing I've hever heard, but it just wasn't stupid enough. I'm kind of curious what just a plain 'ol Double A game is.

AAA is an acronmy and it's not tied, nor is it established by the games industry.
Finance, several other industries, measuring and whatnot use it.

Seriously, what does this even mean? I know it usually denotes budgets but that's not what the general public thinks of it these days. This would denote a game to end all system wars. The savior of gaming, the coming of electronic Christ.

I await thee.

Thank god it's a major AAAA title, I have had enough of the other, mediocre AAAA titles.

I'm painfully aware of all that, it's what makes it so goofy. A game isn't a prime mortgage bundle. It also implies that money = quality(similarly, calling a game 'AAAA' is basically saying "we're spending an even more ridiculous amount of money, therefore it's going to be even better").
