Would have bought day one if physical option was available. DD only makes me very sad and slightly angry.
This. Oh well, there are plenty of other games to play.

Maybe they "cheaped out" by including only the dub!Glad they decided to release it with an english dub rather than cheaping out and subbing only. Plus ya got troy baker.
are you calling troy baker an intern

Is there any confirmation this is DD on the 3DS as well? I supposed it was retail on the 3DS and DD on the PSP.
XSEED Games is releasing Unchained Blades for PSP (playable on Vita, too) and 3DS (via eShop)

probably means it's not big. don't see it being more than 500MB actually. probably around the 300-400MB area.

So I could pick up Troy Baker and Yuri Lowenthal, but I have no idea who the two female VAs were.
If anything it sounds like whatever they are recording on is not of great quality. Certainly sounded like Troy Baker but there was something weird about it I can't really explain not being some sort of audio tech guy.

Better than keeping it in a thread with the game not in the title!
I guess there are only two of us who care.

Voice Direction is just as important as the skill of the voice actors themselves. If the direction is shit, then they could have had Mark Hamil and Patrick Stuart and it still would probably sound like shit.
Too bad, I was interested. Oh well, there are always more games.Wyrdwad confirmed no dual audio on XSEED's forums.
The voice acting in that trailer was cringeworthy lol. Maybe it'll sound better as in game dialogue.
I’ll admit, the whole Trails in the Sky: SC fiasco has left a bitter taste in my mouth. And that this game is DL only, makes me even more hesitant.
But will wait and see how good the game is (through word of mouth) before I decide. If it is great, then I’ll be there.
Indeed. Patrick Stewart's monologues in Castlevania: Lord of Shadow were utterly cringeworthy. Though, that was mainly due to the horrific writing of Kojima.Voice Direction is just as important as the skill of the voice actors themselves. If the direction is shit, then they could have had Mark Hamil and Patrick Stuart and it still would probably sound like shit.
Well, according to this, there's at least some amount of hope in the future for Trails...

Basically an interview about where XSEED's headed.
I can’t read it, unfortunately. I’m at work and it’s blocked. But I’ll take a look at it when I get home.
Would you be able to summarize in how it mentions Trails future?
MAC: If this takes off successfully, where might you aim next? Might we see more of the Legend of Heroes series on Steam? You're not going to talk Falcom into going back to PC development, are you?
KB: If this takes off and we feel confident about taking on larger projects where we oversee the localization programming, then The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky would be the next logical step as we already have the English script from the PSP release, just like we did with Ys: The Oath in Felghana. If things work out as we hope they will, perhaps Steam will become the ideal platform on which to try to continue the Trails in the Sky series.
As for luring Falcom back to PC development, that is something that they will have to decide on their own based on the sales numbers, but my personal guess is that they would love to come back to PC development if they see a viable market for it.

I'll get it for PSP since 3DS is region locked ;-;
