I guess even this show has some redeeming qualities... or something.

Yeah, pretty much true on both points... :)

In fact, Milky Holmes' obsession with food only grows over time. By season 2... well, you'll see.

Yeah man, they are something else when it comes to grub!

Yeah, headphones police girl is cool, in either human or octopus form. :)

I like her a lot! Though for some reason like green hair the best of "Genius 4" which is strange as she isn't that "forward" a character in her personality, so I could see her being last in other people's rankings. The Beach one is the only one so far where she has really shined for me.

That is explained at some point, but I don't how if it has been yet in at that point... if you want a spoiler though (and it is actually a not too unreasonable reason really),
Arsene wants strong opposition. She gets bored when she can just take stuff without a struggle, and Milky Holmes were some of the few people actually able to challenge her. And so she wants Milky Holmes to get their powers back so she can be challenged again.

Yeah, I appreciate the explanation. After watching 10, it's coming together for me much more clearly now.

Apart from that, that episode -- the beach episode -- is one of the more fanservicey ones, but it's not too overdone, and the episode is pretty funny; it maintains that Milky Holmes humor in good form. :)

Cordelia probably is my least favorite of the four, but yeah, her delusions are amazing stuff... :)

I asked you before, but you may have missed it. What is your Milky Holmes ranking(just the gang)?

There are enjoyable pieces of Nise, but the series flounders around and gets lost, failing to come together or make much meaning out of most of its content. I don't think it's outright terrible, but it is certainly disappointing. So much of it is forgettable and inconsequential in every way that I would be surprised if people point back to it even in the near future. Even the good will I do have towards Nise is largely based around my feelings for Bakemonogatari, and the ground work it laid for something successful to come afterwards. Nise uses Bake as a crutch for almost its entire duration, hoping that the viewer still remember and likes the characters while doing nothing with them. In many cases, threads of character development for the old cast are dangled there, but nothing ever seems to ever play out. It's as if the show itself forgets where it has and hasn't been, or simply doesn't care.

But at least we got Kaiki I suppose
.

Not to mention Kaiki's awesome theme.

What I thought dresden was a Hildabro, unless he's done that switcharoo again.

You're going to make me recall stuff I rather not. IIRC, he was for a spell when she was MoeHilda (Which was blasphemy, no less, and an utter defamation of her good name. Let it be known that his aligning with it is being written from the books as a gesture of good-will.)

Using Miri only strengthens my argument.

Get on my level, Solune. My taste in waifus is impeccable.

But in the 22nd century, mankind has completely abandoned sexual taboos and as such has eradicated the power of clothing to titillate, so sadly this is not a counterexample :(

NISA gives off the image of barely scraping by far more than Sentai does. I do find Sentai's releases depressingly spartan, though this seems to be the new reality of R1 releases.

NISA makes some mistakes but those boxsets are GORGEOUS and I have bought several as a result.

As for Sentai/Section 23, they are made with the charred remains of once proud ADV. Its understandable that they don't want to push their luck. howeveR I really miss the days of Geneon and Funimations earlier releases when I totally didnt mind spending more per volume because every disc had a little extra either on it or in the case. Also the cases were of better quality, usually clear, with stuff like reversible artwork and just plain felt like the companies gave a shit about the product.

Crunchyroll's next show: Folktales from Japan. This is so low-interest it's not even in the OP, but I'll give it a try. Why not?
Aesop's Fables!

Maybe that guy is just the Jim Dangle of the USS Enterprise.

Nah, who am I kidding? Early TNG has the worst costume design of any show in the history of television.
Skants are pretty boss though. Even Worf wore one when they were made into dress uniforms!

Clannad AS is one of the best modern anime series made. I am tired of the haters in here acting like their opinion is somehow representative of the majority. It's also just wrong.
Whatever opinion the haters have - should be representative of the majority.:3

Also Hyouka will probably be better than Clannad AS. Real talk.

Pretty much any mode of human dress is a downgrade from Klingon attire, so I doubt he felt more uncomfortable with that than he usually would.
I know that Worf was raised by humans so he doesn't care.

There's a reason it's the trope-namer for Growing the Beard.

It would appear that there was a shipwise rise in masculinity with the abolition of the skant.

Starting with the OP, really digging the art style. As for the content, I didn't know it would be so sweeet.

I now am getting introduced to the true potential power of anime wideface.
Little touches such as "SONY --> PONY" on the television set.
Adorable.

The ENGRISH

*defilibrates self*

The simple color transitions, ranging from hot pink, dark blue, yellow, orange, etc. is quite a treat for the eyes, holding my attention. Yet, some of the simple transitions are a tad too jumpy at times. The photo tackboard visuals with the introduction audio between
the new and old residents
was well put.

Anyways, cuter than even the wonzo gifs led me to believe. It'll make for a good show to watch in between other shows in my backlog.

To clarify something, Mahoutsukai is the american masterpiece The Wizard.

Know why I love the Power Glove?

Just noticed the Cowboy Bebop reference in the title, but saw nothing in the OP. Have I been led astray, or is there actually something new in the CB world?

Seriously. What did you all expect?

The actual lolicon aspect doesn't bother me (my my how far have I come), it's just that their characters barely developed from episode one, and it was like watching Lurch hook up with a non-violent kugiloli, the way it was done was just, eh.

Plenty of harem shows go under, it's hard to forecast just what particular harem show will succeed while others won't (example: who'd have thought that Highschool DxD would achieve even a minor measure of success?).

Just spam T&A everywhere, and the forecast will always rain money.

Again, what did you expect? :p

(Not every show can be AnoNatsu!)

Running total of people who thought we were getting new Bebop: 3

The Undiscovered Country has the best Klingons.

I didn't consider this option, but now I can only see this as the correct answer.

Nah, not the case at all. Success is the hardest thing to predict, because it's independent of actual quality, or merits, or even fanservice.
