I think Gears GAF would just be happy to have someone posting over there.
But really, the Gears community on GAF is either nearly non-existent or nobody is interested in actually playing with anyone. I got sick of going there trying to get a group together and getting no response. It's too bad because I always love me some Gears, just not rolling solo.

Well hey, if you ever want to play Gears I'm down, but I know your policy on only rolling with the Gears equivalent of dongers. I am very, very rusty in Gears and probably wasn't all that great to begin with.
Still need to download that new map pack.

Just noticed on that gif and confirmed on the GI screens that the elevation indicator on the motion tracker is not by floor anymore, it points up even for people jumping in front of you. Wish they just didn't show elevation at all, but meh, they've brought much worse things over from Reach.

Also, I just rented Crysis 2 out of curiosity. I really hope 343 can atleast match the feeling of being a supersoldier in Crysis. Jumping around in armor mode chucking fools at other fools and slamming your fists directly on a guys cranium feels sooooo gooood.gif

Something I never noticed about the GIF before, but it looks like he gets 5 points for the kill and 5 for the headshot, and then 10 points are added to his teams score. Seems like medals will turn into points in certain gametypes. Maybe Wheelman will actually mean something!
I'm sure you guys already dissected this hours after it came out, but whatevs.
Reach actually did this occassionally, particularly on stairs. It wasn't consistent.
It's frustrating how radar is becoming even more of a crutch. I enjoy radar from Halo 3 - but Reach's makes me pay less attention without meaning to :/

I agree...kind of. The general feel of the movement is spot on, but pretty much everything else is mediocre to bad. AI is laughably bad while the shooting is uninteresting. The game is gorgeous, but it falls short of what it could be. But I do hope Halo 4's movement and abilities are something like C2's.
Speaking of, I stopped playing Gears after a bit, but I managed to find an Epic Games Easter Egg at PAX that had a Gears 3 season pass in it. Might go download some stuffs.

I wasn't really speaking for the rest of the game.... But yeah, I guess I feel the same way. Halo's AI spoils me when it comes to any other game out there!
Crysis 2's visuals are really, really awesome. Just a little repetitive though.

I never even played Shadowrun.
I don't like Gears either, broseph. Although I'll admit I had fun with the campaign of Gears 3 though. But I strongly dislike the other 2 games.

That does not look like it has the proper amount of suction.
Dyson Sphere = big hollow sphere built around a star to harvest its energy.
