I'm half an hour into trying to get a game of Firefight Doubles going on Glacier.
First three search sessions (24 voting rounds) did not turn it up. Of the next three (24 rounds) it came up twice, both as the final option. And in both games the host switched right after the game started, leaving me with ~1 full second of input lag. Unplayable.
Please don't use map-specific Firefight Challenges any more.
Please don't use 125 enemy kill targets instead of the 120, because that precludes most maps from being able to be cleared in Score Attack.
Please don't use the target for 10 vehicle kills in Firefight. Vehicles are too infrequent in Reach for that target.
This was not a fun Firefight Thursday.

Jelly? No. I'm already spoken for.
Thats not the only problem. 4 out of 5 times the driver dies before the vehicle explodes, and the kill doesn't count.

The game really does look great visually the one pic where the elite is posing like a predator seemed a bit odd. But I suppose that pics taken partly through an animation Still not sure I like the model in that pic but everything else generally looks good

Got my magazine and it has some new info about Halo for on the modifications:
The guy who wrote the article said he had a modification which allowed him to hold more grenades. He also talks about a covenant assault rifle (maybe the assault carbine?) that shoots blue ''balls''.
That's about the only new thing in the magazine plus that grunt picture that was posted already.
Also, for the first mission

I really like the new design of the grunts and elites. It really shows that the Covenant is no more and that they have to improvise to actually be as capable as they were before.

Hey, I don't deny that the assets looks that good, but keep dreaming if you expect me to believe that the 360 is capable of that level of image quality while maintaining 30fps and 720p. There is literally not a single shred of aliasing in any of those pics, how can you not be skeptical? Prove me wrong 343!
That said, everything still looks fantastic.

In-game's not gonna be 1080p like that.
Yeah, they're in-game, but Frankie said that they give out higher-res versions to the press, because 720p isn't high-enough resolution for print. Games often look a bit better in still shots like this, it's clear that the game is looking fantastic both technically and artistically though.

That's all it takes to be a bullshot though, render at a higher resolution and smooth it all out. Point is when you play it yourself, it is not going to be like the images that were just put out, that's all people mean when they call out bullshot. Though I consider it a negligible one personally.

That design doesn't make any sense. How are the Grunts breathing methane if their gas masks doesn't reach their mouths? Also they look like frogs.
