I did get my key from GMG, two even (I assume the one is for DLC?). Activated as "Binary Domain Pre-order" but now it's just sitting there, despite the game being out in my region. Hmm.

Still waiting in NA x_x Better hurry or my weekend will be consumed with GW2.

Not a single review of Binary Domain PC? I read the console reviews, but I want to know if the port is totally borked / glitchy but bearable / best version yet?

At least my side can use the right form of "you're!" :p

ICE COLD
:p

I'm want to play RE:ORC but I don't want to support capcocmcocpm, I don't know what to do.

Edit: Oh no worries, it won't let me buy it because is not available in my region. Problem solved I guess.

LeChuck's Revenge is the best adventure game I've ever played. Shit, one of THE best games, regardless of genre. I thought the art in the first remake was good, but they really stepped it up with the second one. It's such a beautiful and charming game, if it doesn't put a smile on your face then you are a deeply flawed human being. I'm sure that the vast majority of us have played it by now, but the few who haven't should get on it ASAP.

It's amazing, it shares with Grim Fandango the favorite adventure game spot. I also love the remake because unlike the The Secret of Monkey Island's remake, LeChuck's Revenge adds the voiceover to the retro mode. That alone makes such a huge difference...

Yeah I don't know why they didn't do that with secret. Stupid Lucasarts.

Downloading the demo while I wait for the actual game to unlock I guess.

EDIT: Seems to be running pretty decently on my lowly E8500 / GTX260. Better than the PS3 version I tried and this is at 1080p.

Note that they moved all the controls configuration outside of the game so if you wish to invert your Y-axis, do so before launching the game.

So far I haven't been able to play, since the controls are completely broken for me. When moving the mouse the camera gets all "confused" (moving in random directions), and the configuration tool gives me an error when trying to configure the controller options. :\

EDIT: The keyboard/mouse controls work fine for me in the demo, but they don't in the full game, weird... I guess I'll try deleting the game and installing it again tomorrow. :\

Voice acting in Gemini Rue is far better than Beneath a Steel Sky. Beneath a Steel Sky has some really wretched voices that are brutally annoying. I'm not saying Gemini Rue has some of the best because it's not, but it has its high points. The protaganist a great voice actor. Kane is played by the creator of the game (he plays Joey in Blackwell) and he can sound whiney, but that's because Kane acts like a bitch and for good reason. All the other voices are a mixed bag, but the main ones are good. Plus hearing a real life person say "Boryokudan" makes the gang sound much more bad ass.

Ive said it before but Gemini Rue is one of the best adventure games in the past 3 years, and is in the running in my top 3 cyberpunk games of all time.

Really? I don't agree, not by a longshot. The main character is who I was mainly referring to. To each his own!

shhh Graham I'm still compiling this Radiant map

That's a pretty damn solid lineup, actually.

Oh god, all the time! One misplaced word and the mouse won't speak to me for weeks. WEEKS!

That would actually be a really funny puzzle in an indie game or something: if your mouse sensitivity is set so high, an in-game mouse won't let you progress because it keeps getting offended. In order to move forward, you'd have to turn your mouse sensitivity down.

That also seems like it would be incredibly obtuse, but that's why I'm not in game design, haha.

Boss Doggie

all my loli wolf companions are so moe
So I played Binary Domain demo... how does one answer during voice recognition? I press tab to show the selection but I can't seem to pick one!

but then if you turn it way down, you explain your problem and it's all "like I give a fuck"

It'd be kind of interesting to have a game that's all about breaking the fourth wall. MGS1 did it during the scene with Psycho Mantis, where he takes over your controller and starts cheating by reading your button presses
