Hi there. Back again with some new wallpapers for your Vitas...

They’re kind of in the same style as the old ones, though they still feel fresh.

I’ve been messing with a variety of shapes and ended up using this kind of arrow-like shape. The category-labels are placed a bit different this time around, so that you have more room for your apps and games.

Feel free to use and/or change these up with your own backgrounds/labels.

Sound Shapes Theme

This is excellent. I really wish Sony would release some official Vita themes, and the lack of a Sound Shapes Vita theme seemed like a missed opportunity.

If anyone is interested, I used the template magicaltrevor made here and the wallpaper shagg_187 made here, I made it into a MGS wallpaper. If this against the rules or anything let me know and I'll take it down.

I can't wait for JSR and have a tonne of images that can be used for wallpapers on my PC that I'll put up in an archive but...man I definitely can't afford to allocate a whole screen just for JSR...although it deserves it.

Cool. I currently have a Gravity Rush lockscreen, but will probably use a JSR lockscreen soon. The only game that has its own wallpaper on my Vita (easy to guess) is... GR.

Photoshop gives you enough tools to let you fake it a bit if the image is cropped too short.



If you look hard enough you'll see the flaws, but at the Vita's screen size it'd be hard to tell anything is off. There's just no other way around it unfortunately.

Hmm, that's tricky, I tried but there are too many jaggies... and I can't get rid of che color in some places. But my Photoshop skills are pretty basic, so maybe someone else can do it in a blink of an eye lol

Well, there's no way I'm resizing all of that mess, but I made a png file with the 4 basic shapes, if someone wants to do it have fun. Just download one of the wallpapers and resize each of these to cover what's there. The faded ones, just set transparency to around 60%, see how that looks.
It looks a mess when you look at it on Mediafire, but trust me, download it and it looks right.

Bunch of Gravity Rush wallpapers I made, some turned out good, some not so much. I got the idea for the first two from the JP manual design.

If someone could take some screenshots of these on the Vita, that'd be great! (After all, I worked on these till 3 AM)
