Can anyone tell me why I can't find the New Super Mario Bros 2 DLC packs anywhere on the eshop? I've done a search, looked under Mario software and recent arrivals. But I can't seem to find it anywhere.
The DLC is in the in-game shop.

Look in the Coin Rush mode, the tab is on the bottom.

Because Japan actually cares. :(
I would guess less red tape (different overseas publishers, etc.) and monetary cost (ESRB, etc.) could factor in too.

They're not on the eShop, they're in NSMB2's Coin Rush Shop.

Wario Land 3 is the best in the series.

Soooo good to finally have the entire Mario/Wario Land collection on the 3DS!

Yeah, can't stand for Europe - Japan got it too!

Wario Land 3 is the best in the series.
Darn straight. I remember buying it without seeing any reviews (or even knowing it was coming until it was already out), and being kinda weirded out by how Wario was suddenly so much weaker than Wario Land 2, but all my fears soon dissipated as I got further into the game and began to appreciate the vaguely-Metroid-like structure they'd created (even before playing a single Metroid game!). Great title, and I might go as far as to call it the best Game Boy Color game I've played (the three Zelda games come damn close, though).

Yeah, Wario Land 3's my personal favorite. I think SMB Deluxe is the only other GBC platformer I spent as much time on. Lets you choose between Japanese and English on startup too, so downloading it from the JP eShop turned out to be a good idea.

Just noticed that Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion is up on the PAL 3DS eShop, complete with demo. They didn't announce that, did they?

Is it better than 4?
I think both 2 and 3 are better than 4. 4's really good, but also really short; I also didn't entirely like the series going from the premise of a totally invulnerable protagonist (and then building puzzles around the concept) to one with a life bar, although it wasn't as big a deal as I first worried it might be.

I'm not sure whether 1 or 4 is better. Both are better than Shake It!, which I also really enjoyed, but aped 4 a bit too closely for its own good.

Lost Heroes gets an eShop release (Japan) next week also, one of the other threads mentions a Resident Evil Mercenaries best buy digital (and physical) and Nintendo Life have reportered Riki Densetsu (Kunio Kun series) to see release.

The immortality actually hurt 2 and 3 a little IMO. Robs the game of tension, and reduces various areas to trial and error.

They certainly didn't! Although I think the demo probably isn't going live until later today; I tried downloading it and was told it wasn't available for distribution.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
There's some new deals on European eShop...for old games XD

Donkey Kong for Gameboy has a 25% deal - 2.99 Euro
DK Jr. (Nes) a 30% deal - 3.49 Euro

The deal ends on 13/12

Is it better than 4?

If you're going to just play it once, then probably yes. WL4 shines when replaying in higher difficulties.

From a pure platformer point of view, 4 is the best. However, I personally prefer 2 and 3, but they are more exploration platformers.

I have a 15€ card lying around, so I'm thinking about going digital for Paper Mario tomorrow. When do the donwload retail titles usually become available?

Is Wario Land 3 on sale or something?

It's $6.50 on the Australian 3DS while Wario Land 2 is $7.50; one would think that WL3 (being a Color exclusive game) would be more expensive?

Otherwise, 3DS I love you! How Nintendo hasn't cultivated the Wario Land and Yoshi's Island series into major franchises is beyond me.

I look forward to reigniting the WL2 vs. WL3 debates with you.

I think they price the least known GBC Roms a little bit cheaper nowadays. to be fair 6e GBC vs 5e NES Roms is madness

Good to see Warner Bros. and even Natsume being on the digital 3DS train.

It's definitely the American PR.

Harvest Moon is the type of game that you might want to have on the system all the time. I may end up getting it.

It's at least nice to get games I guess. But every week that goes by without Yoshi's Island kills my heart ever slightly more.

I went to the eshop today and I got a notification that one of the games on my wishlist, Ninja Gaiden, was available today.

Is this some kind of cruel joke? I mean, really?

Well, I decided to buy Denpa Men but I won't be able to play this because of Paper Mario. :(

Edit: Downloading the Mickey Demo. :D

It's slow easy platformer.. just like they were back then

I'd pick it up for £10 but not more

It's had a release date of the 6th since last week. So, my guess is it will be available today.

Then again, I've been saying this since November 8th. :-/

I've often felt like this distinction was always given too high a regard. The puzzles weren't built around the concept of 'a totally invulnerable protagonist', they were built around the concept of 'certain attacks put Wario in new forms''; he just *happened* to be invulnerable on top of that; you could stick a lifebar in Wario Land 2 and some enemies that have attacks that actually *hurt* and the game would pretty much still work. That 'attacks transform Wario' trait - I *think*, it's been a long time! - still persisted in the lifebar titles, it just so happened that Wario *also* wasn't invulnerable on top of that.
