And yeah, between the incoherent wording in the trailer and the fact that it looks super Fox Engine-y, I'm guessing this has something to do with Kojima/Konami.

Lol at the people complainign the dude looked like snake, no shit, I can list 4 big games where the main chars look the same, at least he is not bald.

At least it's a new IP, but that did nothing for me.

Looks dated even for 2012. This isn't next-gen.

The Phantom Pain trailer was a bit too long for my taste. Something that bizarre and vague works best under brevity.

I really hope it is a part of something bigger. On its' own, it looks like a decent artsy game. But if this was a trailer for the first act of MGS 5 - oh snap.

honestly thought it was ground zeroes cuz

1) guy was in a coma, which is part of big boss`s history- the time he got cloned

2) mullet + facial hair

Phantom Pain sure is MGS. Wouldnt it be Snake they would have showed the main character first. But no they showed him at the end and then not even good.

BTW the same lightning effect.

Lol we finally get a brand new IP we know nothing about yet, and everything still sucks and is horrible. GAF is hilarious

What about that trailer didn't look like a bunch of meh?

The notion that a new IP is automatically good is hilarious.

Phantom Pain staring Big Boss?

That looked way too much like MGS:GZ and the Fox Engine.

Could it be project ogre? I wouldn't put it past Kojima to use a different studio name just to throw people off.....

Man, the VGAs exist just to introduce stuff, there is never substance to their reveals. Actually, everything Geoff is in qualifies. "Heres something vague you will learn about during a legitimate event."

Guys, Metal Gear isn't being made by a studio called "Moby Dick Studios" and having Big Boss as an amputee while flaming whales fly around.

"Phantom limb pain is described in Herman Melville's novel Moby Dick, which was first published in 1851."

lol, there's got to be ten minutes between when the first poster here sees something and the last. I'm guessing some of the streams have MASSIVE delays.

I'm guessing Moby Dick Studios is a new studio. I can't find anything on them. I wouldn't be surprised if they're still shopping for a publisher.
